Hello fellow Arizonian! I traded a 2dr Willyās JK for my Willyās Gladiator. Youāre going to really like the change to a truck. These rigs are great! Iām shopping for a tear drop too... happy trails!
Yeah, Iām with wild taco on this one. They already paint the hard top factory colors, take 2 minutes to spray the inside black at least. Us Jeep guys will buy anything as cost is rarely an issue. Anything over $40K deserves an option. They do sell a headliner, and itās decent, just give it a...
Great Job. Totally agree this should be factory option. I didnāt paint my top black even though I hate the white interior of the top, but I do have the Hot Heads headliner. Itās 114 in Arizona today and it absolutely helps temperature control. I upgraded my speakers and Iām also convinced the...
Ive been looking at the many offerings out there to add a step while maintaining the Rubicon Rock Rails. I had it narrowed down to Ace Engineering and one other that slips my mind - both are top of the line in function and price. I then discovered Archetype Racing and saw some nice looking...
Grey Matter Jeep makes EXCELLENT points - totally agree with all of them. Ive had 2 sets of doors (JK and now JT) and run them 5 months of the year. Get the mesh... and pop for good mirrors. Zero rattling as you use washers to adjust a body bushing. Iāve been pelted or nailed by road debris that...
I did not. The hot heads panel is already pretty thick and uses what looks to be heat reflective material and deadening already. The tight clearances would be compromised IMO with additional material. There is no need for deadening material IMO.. itās purely for heat insulation and to pretty up...
Iāve taken this route 10-15 times as well...definitely my favorite in Arizona. All my runs were in my Willys JK. I have a Willys Gladiator now but havenāt done it yet. Good to hear itās still a great trail. I like how itās always changing. There are times after a good washout Monsoon where itās...
Highly recommend. I went with Hot-Head on my Gladiator and had the MOPAR headliner on my JK. Both make significant difference in the Arizona heat of 100+ degrees for 4 months on a black top. AC runs more efficiently to cool cabin and sound system sounds better too. Great investment for small...
Iāll be checking my tailgate as I have this on and off, but only at slower over bump speeds. I thought I had it targeted when I found the plastic center caps on my aftermarket wheels werenāt quite tight enough..but itās back and the caps are tight. Interesting issue. Simple fix yet annoying as hell.
I REALLY like those clamps to hold lights on the hoop... who makes those? My only disappointment in the Arcus hoop was no light tabs, those clamps would solve my dilemma.
Absolutely love my Arcus.. itās tough looking and lots of people comment itās close to factory looking - like it belongs. I also added the hoop, just wish it had light tabs.
Can I ask why you went that route versus buying the AMFIB Snorkel offered by Rugged Ridge? No modification needed and serves the same function. Install time was about 90m taking my time. I like how much more noticeable yours is but itās pretty daring to cut like that.. nice work. EDIT:: I think...
Itās not the sensors, itās the wheels and the inability for the module in the truck to read them for some reason. Be it the material or extra thickness etc..who knows. Iāve had this issue for a year since my new wheels and tires were put on by the dealer. Same sensors were fine in the stock...
Good deal. I had the MOPAR headliner in my JK... Iām interested to see this product and make a comparison in both looks and performance. Our black hardtops really toast us here in the Arizona summers; just ordered as a Christmas gift for myself. Thanks!
It will work itself out. For the record, everything is Jeep dealer installed, the lift etc.. all āapproved ā and warrantied by MOPAR themselves or my tire/wheel protection package I purchased. As you know, most Jeep dealers are doing these modifications etc. Clearly they canāt stand by the...
On the other hand, could the 35ā Toyo tire Iām running with thicker sidewalls and greater density block the signal? Maybe... you know, no Jeep owner runs 35ās on different wheels. š Jeep canāt possibly think weād do that! Ran the same setup on my JK for 6 years, no issues..whatās changed...
Itās going to become a Jeep issue soon.. or at a minimum something they have to overcome. Canāt be significant difference from wheel to wheel; thatās silly. It will become a Customer Satisfaction Issue. Sure, they can say the vehicle is āmodified ā etc... but is it worth it? They even noted...
Serviced at the dealer today..gave them another shot. FAIL! They rotated another tire to the LF corner and problem with light stayed. Sensor tested fine. Jeep says they are working normal and itās my wheels combined with the new placement of the module under rear seat that picks up the TPMS...
I have same issue with 1 sensor. Dealer reset it once and it lost the signal the next day. Dealer tried to tell me my metal valve stem caps can interfere with signal. I was like āwhy just 1 tire?ā Went back to plastic as a test - no change. Iām thinking itās a battery and am waiting until my...
