I wish! I had a spot for the Ouray Jamboree but didn’t get the notice till like 2 weeks ago and had already used my PTO. I guess we’ll keep trying to find people to swap and if we don’t, we’ll make the trade then lol
So this is a long shot, but I have Zroadz full rack and think I’d rather have a half rack like the Fishbonz half tackle. Any chance someone has one and wants to swap?
I can confirm the tires are at proper pressure and the rack is about 200lbs in the bed. I'm not sure how much that would affect rake...some but I can't imagine that it would be significant.
Hard to imagine you're THAT MUCH better, but that seems to be the case. Granted I haven't flashed my computer yet to account for the 35's, but doing 75 on the interstate with the cruise set my mileage usually shows 11-15mpg. Every now and then with the cruise set at 70mph it'll hold a sustained...
2021 Mojave with the trailer tow group (4.10 gearing). I'm running 35" tires but they're only a net gain of 4lbs. I DO like to get to speed but wouldn't call my acceleration ridiculous. I also have a full bed rack with 2 Rotopaxes.
That being said, I average about 14mpg and given current...
Yes, I did get them and I don't regret it at all. They did well on the ice we had back in February, they've been good in the rain so far this spring and I took them off-road at the Jeep Adventure Academy in Llano 10 days ago where they did very well. They're quiet on road as well. I did get a...
I don't think I've checked in here either...so I'll do so now :) 2021 Mojave with an added rack, towing brake controller and 35" rubber. Still contemplating the Maggie and sometimes day-dreaming about a Rubi that I could lift and run 37's on (but I do love the ride of my Mojave)
I'm going to go ahead and jump in here. I have a '21 Mojave with the factory trailer tow group. I had the factory brake controller installed. I currently tow a 2019 E-Pro 19QBG. Dry weight is 3400lbs, with my crap in there I estimate 4000lbs total. (I'm a single guy so I keep it light). The hard...
I currently am not but am seriously entertaining the Maggie. I waffle back and forth between doing it now or waiting till the factory warranty goes out...
I used my Mojave to tow my 19' E-Pro camper (approx 4,000lbs) from Austin to Dallas. Running at 60-65mph it stayed in 5th gear and about 3200-3500 rpm. Truth be told, I would have much preferred to stay in the 2800 range, but found it took more pedal in 6th to maintain speed than it did in 5th...
Mojave and Rubicon will be identical, gas to gas. The numbers for the Rubicon you're seeing are the 3.0 diesel numbers. And while there's a thread for it, best I can tell the Rubicon will be more capable rock crawling and the Mojave (which I have) will be better for daily driving and weekend...
So I went from a 2015 Altitude GC to my '21 Mojave. I have to say the Mojave seats and steering wheel are really nice. I also have the trailer tow group and added the factory brake controller as I tow a 19' E-Pro camper. My Mojave tows well enough, but I can say I preferred my GC for that. What...
If you'll check the FAQ and Itinerary links posted at their site, it should help clear up any questions you might have. They are in fact 1 day events (at least the Austin/SA one is) and they give a location (and sometimes lodging suggestions in the area).
I just signed up for the Austin/San Antonio one on April 1st. I know it's a beginner course, but I don't want to damage my JT and it's always useful to refresh on the basics!
It was b/c of your work and youtube video that I just last week went with the same tires. I added a Zroadz Overland rack and hoping to add a RTT soon. Thanks for the research you put into the tires :)
I live in Texas and there are Jeeps EVERYWHERE here! I've never owned a Wrangler b/c I didn't want to have the same thing everyone else did. I started with a 99' XJ that was dressed up but not necessarily "built". I fairly consistently got waves in it. Then I made a list of what I wanted in a...
Well, that looks like the answer to my problem...I hate to spend another $300 on top of the cost of the already expensive rack, but if I want to put the tent up up there it looks like I'm going to have to. Thanks for the help and for the link to make it just a little bit easier :)
I just installed mine as well. I really wanted to add a Roofnest Sparrow XL, but with the rack sitting down an inch or two below the top of the cab, I don't think it will work. Do any of you have experience installing a hardshell RTT on this rack without having to install another rack on the top...
I wish I had seen this before buying my Zroadz rack. I also am wanting to install a RTT and noticed that the rack sits lower than the top of the cab. Now I'm thinking I'm either stuck getting a tent that ONLY sits on the rack, or having to get some sort of spacers installed to raise the tent...
