Seems to be some confusion on here. Placed my order end of Nov and just picked up my Gladiator from Gupton last week. Here’s current the Gupton deal:
- Gupton’s flat discount is 5% below invoice
- an additional 1% is possible if you use dealer financing
- yet another 1% is possible for if you...
Ah dude YOU were the other guy at Gupton. It was such a whirlwind, I wish I could have stayed and chatted with everyone. Nice write up, I really fell in love with my ACC on the drive home, added bonus was realizing that it also enables auto on/off high beams!
To me, it sounds incredible compared to my past TJ and JK… but it’s not audiophile quality or rattle your neighbors windows loud if that’s what you are looking for.
Value wise, I think a comparable DIY custom install could probably be done for $1300 or less. Anyone can buy $1000 worth of...
It truly was a pleasure meeting you. What a whirlwind, the Gupton experience truly is quick and painless. I wish I could have stayed and chatted for a bit longer, but glad I headed out right away as it was a long, snowy trip home.
Enjoy your Holy Grail rubi/diesel combo!
That list is from 2019, at some point Jeep tried to go all digital on the manuals to save a buck and it wasn’t well received, hence they all come with them again.
I’m betting the engineers (and lawyers) deliberately choose to keep a car running in case someone has left their infant/child/grandma/dog in the car.
Yeah every now and then it can take Daniel few days to reply. Placing a deposit is a pretty important part of the process though, it doesn’t get ordered until you do that! If it’s been more than a day I’d say that would be one of the few instances where I’d email him again.
Congrats! Fingers crossed that there are better factory incentives for you in Feb to make it worth the wait.
Daniel had previously told me I’d get an email from Renee when it was my time, so I think they are generally split between orchestrating orders (Daniel) and pickups (Renee).
Broke down and emailed Daniel Gupton and can confirm that at least for Gupton, orders placed prior to factory price increases are locked in at the price they were ordered at.
“Good afternoon sir! The window sticker should always reflect the most recent pricing but when it is invoiced to us it...
No, ordered as a 2022 expecting 2022 prices as they were in November…. But 2022 prices increased across the board when the January order guide was released on January 17th. Both base price and a majority of the options increased. See the MY2022 guide thread linked below...
Welp, my build was completed last on Friday and I was excited to see cryptostickers found my window sticker this morning. Every option was correct (thanks Daniel!) but my heart sank a little to see that it showed the recent factory pricing increases…. My MSRP shot up nearly $2000 compared to...
The order process is well documented many times through this thread…just gotta look for it. It’s not a forum order or special deal, just Gupton’s business model and you order directly from Gupton. They have a small staff that processes dozens of orders a week so keep your contact concise and be...
Wonderful metaphor! Let’s all strive to never be the second guy in line…. I see the appeal of the HA or any trim level, though I do find myself biting my tongue when I see any cake decorated with angry eyes/grumpers ?
Right? I didn’t know that either until @JTDay mentioned it, had to go verify myself. Found that everything priced below the Overland edition doesn’t get the LED fender lights when selecting the LED package. The price of the package is at least reduced (slightly) I guess…
Congrats it looks great, bonus on the LED fender lights! I didn’t realize that ticking the LED light group box in the Sport S didn’t include them, so that’s lame. It’s amazing how much they withhold options to manipulate consumers into more expensive packages with higher profit margins.
