That's not a joke. I can see where they can be a quick solution engineering wise on thin metal. But if they dont grip its pointless. TBH - I dont see what it wouldve been for Jeep to tack weld nuts on those like they did with the other mounting holes. Kinda irked that the rivnut let go and I had...
I got it fixed. Removed tail light (2 8mm screws) gave me access to the back of the rivnut. then it was a 10mm long socket on the back of the rivnut and BAM. got the bolt out. then took my tool (same tool you linked too - thank you) and squeezed that SOB down. installed that last rail...
Yes sir. Ill get a photo to show. I read somewhere to try JB weld but not sure if it will work with my bed liner coating or if Im skilled enough to not get any on the bolt as well.
Hey guys. I was installing today. First rivnut is spinning and the bolt is basically sitting flush on the rivnut face. I screwed up...I know. But it slipped when I was torquing it down and I was like WHAT!!!. shouldve gone the nut and washer route. Any suggestions on what to do?
I'll take great MPG over emissions every day as long as the US doesn't do a thing about the imports we have from China which is bar none the biggest polluter.
Shouldn't have these rules in the first place unless you're going to somehow force other countries that pollute on magnitudes more to cut their emissions. But the US doesn't have the cajones to cut off imports from China because Walmart would die...
Eh not so much. Solar panels for the sq ft on the roof wont charge that amount of pack unless you want to leave it parked for a while. Think like trickle charging...A long while. But being able to plug into a charge station would be great.
Correct me if I'm wrong but unless that TOYO is a hybrid shouldn't you be better off MPG with the 4xe? Probably depending on the type of commute... I for one (I work as an engineer at an EV manufacturer) was quite disappointed with what came out of the hype of Jeep making a hybrid. What I could...
Oh I doubt that. Didnt have "Unlimited Jeep Mods" anywhere on the item...
Also didn't have "Unlimited BJs" either...so...def not the marriage saver...
You know BJs being the model that came out before the CJs right? ;-) ;-)
TBH - I thought it was worth the ask. I saw this after I hit hard a large dip in the road and I was like is this some indicator that I bottomed out to the frame? I didnt see the same on the rear wheels so I was questioning my logic for what they were for since it look like the bolt access was...
Can someone tell me what these are for? On front DS & CS of Gladiator...they seem to be made of plasitc/poly and other than a T shape that's all I know...
So interesting...I'm back at 100% DPF again. Went and drove an hour on the interstate and no AR occurred. Also haven't had the message popup about continuing to drive...
Thanks! Interestingly OBD Fusion didnt create the file structure under OBD Fusion file in Dropbox so I created an Import folder and extracted the files there. So when I go to import the file on the App I have to select one or the other?
I'm sorry if I'm being difficult; I just want to see my DPF...
