Thanks! Yeah, it had the steel bumper package. I sold the front one when I got the new Rock Hard bumper so I could tow behind the big beast.

Now to present day… I decided I wanted the old white cap to be black. And I talked myself into some custom graphics at the wrap shop while we were at it..

Bucket list item.. We spent 3 days on white rim trail wheeling and camping with my son. It was amazing!

Those 35s always looked small under the new lift… time for some new shoes with some new wheels. Can you tell I always liked the old bronze wheel blue Subaru look?

Also time to upgrade the camping experience… 38 foot 2000 newmar dutch star diesel pusher. Wee Beastie is going from a tow rig to a toad. Required a new bumper among other things (lighting, brakes, etc)..

35s on a sport s work pretty well, but these wheels have a lot of offset so at full articulation, she rubs… time for a little 2.5 AEV lift..

But… camping with a rack was getting old, I decided it was time for.. a smartcap.. also love that thing :) About that time, the visual changes started happening. Got rid of the ugly tailgate letters and added some old school letters..

Did some camping too. Overlanding and trailer. By this time I had gotten a Tab400. Love that thing.

I bought an awning… did some more wheeling…

Got into some trouble winter wheeling…. Some snow and a tree were not my friend.. ;( I go on one wheeling trip without my navigator, take one wrong turn and end up in 5 feet of snow… lessons were learned..

We wheeled it quite some time like that. I had also added one of those fancy vol switches and wired up some lights. Added a harbor freight winch to the deal as well.. We wheeled, and towed, and wheeled some more..

So I bought some new ones.. and I found a great deal on a rack on CL. They even let me take the trail rail system that they used to mount it…

Almost immediately added some used 35s I found on CL… Loved the immediate transformation. But the tires were old enough to be really loud..

Bought a bone stock 2021 Diesel Freedom Edition with 20k miles in 2022… It was very well optioned with armor, 8.4 Navi.. basically everything but the automatic door no key fob thing. The plan was to add that but as of 2024, I still haven’t done that..
