Mine has done it since day 1. For 4 years now I thought it was a normal thing. It isnt normal? Has never bothered me.

Happens to me at least once or twice every winter. Has happened on every pickup truck I have ever owned in my life. I have also had the doors freeze up. Doors were an easy fix. Remote start and within a few minutes it heats up enough for them to thaw enough to open.
