Iāll keep that in mind, thanks. It wasnāt really puttering around like driving on the beach at Daytona where you can drive cars on.
It definitely worked the jeep a little more then I thought it would. The sand was a little sloppier then I expected. Nothing crazy, just my first time out there...
Thank you for the info.
It just seemed so extreme lol.
I never run my stuff hard so seeing and hearing it had me wondering. What you said makes sense though.
I appreciate the links. I fully understand it changes the shift points. But itās really nothing to do with my wondering about it going so high. No mention of it in those links.
My concern was if 5K rpm in first gear was normal for it. To me thatās just painful in first gear on flat sand.
Thanks the info is much appreciated. I went today just south of Dewey for a dry run since this is my first surf fishing tag.
Iāve got the trailhead deflators and aired down. As you say the conditions can change and vary quite a bit. And yeah the air hoses are kick ass. Took no time to air...
So I just went out on the beach for the first time. Sand is pretty soft. Put it in 4WH and turned on off road +. It never would shift out of first gear even up 5k RPM. I didnāt keep it there long at all though but it didnāt seem like it was going to shift. Is this normal?
So I moved to an area where you can drive on the beach. Iām new to it and the whole Jeep thing as well, Iāve had my Mojave a little over a month now.
Iāve talked to people and they say the Jeeps never air down but a lot of others do. I havenāt actually spoken to any Jeepers so I was just...
My sales guy texted me a little while after I bought my ā22 Mojave and asked how I liked it. I told him my mileage I was getting and he said to bring it in for them to diagnose and see if there was an issue as he got a lot better in his. I havenāt done it yet and not sure if I even will.
I...
Yeah the right side sucks. I know a āfriendā
(šlol) that puts the nozzle in, locks it open then goes inside to buy whatever and his truck is filled when he comes out.
A couple of times someone has talked to this āfriendā when he came back to his vehicle and he forgot about the nozzle still in...
I had a 3/4 ton GMC with a Duramax in it with the CP4. It was out out warranty so I had mine swapped out when I had it tuned and deleted. Iād heard it was like $12-14k if the CP4 grenaded. Couldnāt stand worrying about it. The problem may have been more prevalent due to the bigger engine. A...
It really shouldnāt matter. I drove it Wednesday and turned it off that evening. Didnāt get in it all Thursday and got it in Friday morning at about 25Ā° Temps parked outside and it didnāt recognize the cold. It ran for a few minutes and when I got in the displays said 43Ā°
Itās not just the seat but as I said earlier I have that turned on. Itās the defroster not coming on too like it should.
Btw, you canāt do anything with the passenger seat in the menu, only the drivers. The passenger seat needs programmed with a Tazer
