Same. I actually decided not to do the diode thing, as I don't find that I need them in most reverse situations. I got them for camping and trailer work.
Yes. I use a WDH as well as the bags. I set it up with the bags pressurized, about 40 psi. The result is level, but also a solid, no-bounce ride, with a planted feel to the front.
I have a RainGear Cab cover, that I LOVE. Turns out, mice love it too. I made the mistake of leaving it folded in the garage for a week, because the grass was too wet to lay it out and stash it properly. Mice ate several holes through it. RainGear has not responded to Emails, their phone is...
Same here. I was set on a manual, but I needed the higher tow rating of the MaxTow. Can't say that I'm unhappy. Heck, it's got the best/most intuitive auto-stick of any I've ever used, including a BMW 3 series. My buddy bought a '21 JL 2 door with a manual, and now wishes he had gotten he...
You must have some LONG-ass legs! I can stretch my legs out beyond the pedal if necessary, but I have it positioned so that I rarely need to; I switch between the dead pedal and foot flat on the floor, back closer to the seat.
I find it more comfortable when driving to rest my foot on this rather than flat on the floor. It's a more natural angle. BUT, what I discoed that makes this REALLY awesome is for bracing during a steep decline, or if you need to raise up a bit in the seat to see an obstacle.
That’s interesting. He doesn’t have easy access to the stuff where he is, but I’ll be experimenting with it. It’ll be interesting to see what happens as the weather gets cooler. You know… in October.
So, a buddy of mine with a lead foot and a manual in his '21 2 door wrangler(jk?) Put a tank of E15 from Sheetz in his Jeep and his fuel economy went UP by 2 mpg. I saw it myself. He usually gets like 14-16 mpg (stock), and he was running 18-19 with that stuff. My local station sells it; I...
It ain’t so! Not a bit!
Zero metal-to-paint contact. For the stop-peg, I used 3:1 shrink tubing, heavy. Ends up with like 3/32 thickness., and tough. That was too thick for the hinge peg itself, so that’s 3/8” electrical heat shrink tubing. At the top, there is a heavy washer welded on...
Yeah, and the online configuration does not necessarily align with the reality of the actual ordering system the dealer uses. Best to just go in and sit down with them.
