FWIW I have 4.56 gears on my 6 speed JLU and 315/70s. it is decent, but 4.88s would better. If I ever regear my Mojave on 35” tires, I’ll go with 4.88s. It is also a manual.

thanks for your service in the Navy, fyi I‘ve run my JLUS (wrangler) w/o the plastic air damn for going on 3 years now. No adverse effects and my JL is heavily modded. Truthfully I don’t think my gas mileage even changed. keep up the posts, I like the line-x product and your review was helpful.

I’m DD‘ing my TJR with 33s and 3” of lift now. Weekly 250 mile treks to Philadelphia and back. She’ll get weekend toy status next month when my Mojave comes in. That Brute with a V8 and manual gearbox, though… wow, that’s my dream rig.

The brute is awesome. The LS with a 5 speed is fantastic. If you have any engine bay picks, feel free to share. frankly, i think those are worth every penny.
