Sadly no other jamboree for us. Killington is the only one we guide at. We would love to check out both Maine and Catskill as participants sometime. Also Jenna managed to grenade the front end on day two on the big obstacle at the end of the bonus trail. I was able to limp it down and onto the...
No rock rail would have saved the bed side. Very off camber drop it an offensive tree waiting to trap the long wheel based rigs. To the OP you did amazing with that rig on Vertigo!! Brett (trail guide)
Just returned from Killington Jeep Jamboree. It is about 2 hrs each way. The gladiator pulled the TJ very well. That includes a pretty good climb and decent in the mountains of VT
Is anyone here attending this year's jeep jamboree at Killington? I will be there as a trail guide. Although I won't be wheeling my gladiator, it will be towing my TJ that I use for the trails.
Not the E, But my TJ has OX lockers front and rear. They have been great since I got rid of the cables and converted to Air operation. I would venture a guess that’s their electric version is just as stout
No one has mentioned OX covers. I have OX lockers on my TJ and the covers are extremely solid. They are required as they have an integrated shift fork for the locker. They do make stand alone covers for use without their lockers.
What did you do about the strut being galvanized? My past experience says that paint doesn't adhere to the galvanized coating. I know you can get painted or powder coated strut as well. Please let us know how it holds up. It looks great!
