  1. Strange noise

So I've noticed the same issue on my 2022 MT Overland and I think it's the heatshield near the exhaust pipe, since the noice is happening at above 3500 rpm after prolonged driving, which means that the heatshield is expanding just enough to touch the exhaust pipe which will vibrate more and more...
  2. First time Jeep Buyer in need of advice

Yep, just mentioning options outside of Willys.
  3. Super mega gladiator meetup

What's the one in Detroit in August?
  4. First time Jeep Buyer in need of advice

Tires are going to be the biggest factor as far as off road capability goes when you compare different trim levels (outside of Rubi and Mojave). All terrain or mud tires make a big difference vs the all season tires that are fitted standard on Sport, Altitude, Overland, and High Altitude. There...
  5. Owner of Jeep left at dealer for oil change is sued after tragic accident

Goodness, I wonder who pissed in @Zybane 's coffee this morning jeez man. We don't all have the facilities, space, or tools to do an oil change on our own. This is especially true for me as a college student where I have none of the above when I'm on campus. On top of that, my vehicle is a...
  6. Driver information center menus are inconsistent

I had a similar issue on my 22 Overland and it resolved itself. I got mine end of March and I haven't made any modifications or used a Tazer. One option is to go to our dealer and ask them to reflash the software. It'll take an hour or so to do and should resolve the issue.
  7. Nobody waves anymore.

I drive my Gladiator on a college campus and it's kind of sad that so few of my fellow students do the wave back.
  8. Anyone else's JT get damaged in transit?

So I just ordered a Sarge Green JTO through the company car program and I was supposed to pick it up on March 16th, now it's been pushed back at least two weeks. Why did it get pushed back? Good old damage in transit - there's a big old scratch on the driver's side of the bed above the left rear...
  9. Gupton pickup logistics

Sounds like of all the dealers in the country, the folks at Gupton are the most friendly and customer centric.
  10. Favorite color you didn’t buy…

I ordered Sarge Green on my Overland as the "mature" color choice, but goodness that Firecracker Red has a place in my heart.
  11. What limits towing on manual transmission?

"Worse" in the sense that you're shifting a lot more and it's harder to drive at low speeds, especially if you've got a trailer to manage as well. It's definitely better for towing and whatnot, just not the best combination from an ease of use standpoint when trailering. Sorry for the lack of...
  12. What limits towing on manual transmission?

The gearing is even worse in the Rubicon or Mojave when paired to the manual. If you're going to tow frequently, get the auto.
  13. Mountain Bikes - How are you guys carrying them??

We use the Thule Apex XT hitch mounted bike rack - it fits 4 bikes and leaves the bed open to haul other stuff. It really comes in handy on other vehicles with a hitch because then you can still open the trunk with the bike rack and bikes attached. Link...
  14. Offroad Tips for newbie

Do you (or anyone else) have any resources for finding fire/forest service roads near you? Google just won't cut it here, I've tried to search some already to no avail.
  15. 8.4 still standard on '22 Rubicon's?

The 8.4 screen with NAV is standard on 2022 Overland, Rubicon, Mojave and High Altitude Gladiators
