Thanks for the info. The sway and steering were fine, just seemed the engine was working harder than it should. Good to know that is normal for those speeds and towing.
I know, I know. I had trouble getting the tongue jack to go up any higher and had to get on the road.
Thanks to all for weighing in on this. Like I said, it was my first time towing anything heavier than a kayak trailer behind the JT. Good to know your towing experiences and similar issues with that sensor. I'll look into the fixes mentioned. And good point on the trailer towing speeds...
Sorry folks. I didn't want to create a new post, but couldn't find anything that covered all the bases. And as you may note, I'm fairly verbose.
I've had my 2022 Gladiator Rubicon for several years now and I love it. But... never towed anything more than a kayak trailer till a few days ago...
Thanks for developing another great product for us. Love it and would be buying it, except I have 2 kiddos entering HS band which apparently going to cost me $3,000+/per kid. Which equals < money for jeep stuff. Sad emoji! Very sad.........
I've been dealing with the rodent issue for years in multiple vehicles where I live. Forget about traps and peppermint oil. That stuff never worked for me after multiple years of trying (trapped more birds than rodents). And they ignored the stench of the peppermint oil that was strong enough...
Beautiful pictures and thanks for posting. I took the wife and kids (ages 11 & 13) out to Moab this past April for Spring Break up thru Colorado and back down thru NM and TX. 5000 miles round trip from SC in 10 days and we spent 6 days around Moab. My forth time there but kids first...
I specifically ordered without adaptive cruise. I know its a personal choice, but not for me. Wife's Sienna has it and I'm not a fan. Had regular CC for the past 2 years on the Jeep and no complaints.
I added the trail cam to my factory order. Offroad I have no use and it serves almost no purpose for me. Not worth the extra money. I do turn it on in certain parking situations. Lame.
We took the back way in to Arches National Park back during April spring break this year. I forget the trail name, but its cool because kids wanted to see the dino tracks along the way. Right before the dino tracks we encounter, I kid you not..., a Honda minivan. Talking with them, the hotel...
19D's... Oh yea, the guys that found targets for us 19K's.. Lol. Love the ribbing we always had back and forth between 19K/19D. I lived as a cav scout for 6mo while waiting for our new M1's to come in. Loved every minute of it. 11ACR/1stID. Totally get Graf/Holenfels.
I am not there yet as far as stacking any gear on top of significant weight. It's aluminum, which I'm afraid any significant weight will bend it. So I'm hesitant to place anything on there other than lightweight items bungeed down like fishing rods and such. I believe there is some claims...
