Fix it.
It's the right thing to do given your financial position. When it's done right you probably will not want to sell it. However, if you do the next buyer will heap praise on you and your karma card will be flush with points. Unlike the guy you got it from. The...
I picked up a 2500 lbs Sky Jack lift and drove it 40 miles one way. Fuel mileage dropped to about 16mpg... But it didn't bother the Mojave at all. Total weight with trailer and lift was 4100 lbs. These trucks do alright.
I'm 100% stock, burning alcohol free gasoline. I use cruise control a lot. I also been babying the heck out of it to see what is the best mileage I could get. I'm not a fan of driving like a half blind little old lady with 5 pill a day xanax habit, but I just wanted to see what was the best MPG...
The little thingamajig that let's you know in real time what the fuel mileage is that you're currently getting has changed how I drive lol. Well, for the past few weeks anyway. I wanted to see how high I could get it. Was surprised when I saw 23MPH... Before I started paying attention I was...
Anybody used a kill switch? (Like on a motorcycle) If you do not know where the switch is, you can't get the power to the vehicle to start it. Hot rod guys had them in the 60's and 70's on their cars to prevent theft and other things. (turn off blue dots etc.) Sorry you got jacked man. Thieves suck.
Now what? Get a decent set of tools. Next, go to some places to test it out and to get a feel for it. Decide if anything needs to be changed and then change those things. A decent set of tools makes working on these things a ton of fun. Nice ride you picked up, enjoy it.
I have spent a small fortune over the years on things like the NOCO charger (absolute junk IMO) and Battery tenders etc. For me I finally just bought a cheap 12v battery and carry it with me. The NOCO is not a cheap unit, the 12v battery lasts 6 times longer running lights and a fan and it's...
Safety?
My knuckles are beat all to hell and my front bottom teeth have been replaced by a competent dentist. I have a 4 inch scar running down my right wrist because I was a damn fool in my 20's (1989).
At this point in my life I don't even trust a raisin bran fart.
SAFETY?
These days I use...
What I like the most about my decision was the special edition man taint tickler that comes standard on the Mojave. Only requirement? Hitting a 4 foot kicker at around 35 MPH!! WOW, does that ever tickle!!! ?
I have both the 22' Rubicon 2 door and the 22' Mojave. I drive the Mojave, wife drives...
My first mod was some Weather Tech floor mats. Jeep mods are like crack to a crackhead. Only more expensive... You will see something someone has done to their rig on here and you will start fiending for it. You HAVE BEEN WARNED ? Congratulations on your new Jeep!
Honestly it's such a minuscule little chip that I don't think much about it. My wife got from riding too close to the moving truck when we were moving. It's been one of the best bargaining chips I ever had... (?) I'll get it fixed before next snow season. By then my "bargaining chip" will have...
