Here is the fix for my AEV JLU370. The guy who Fab'd the shackle mounts is Robert Breiter of Bremerton, WA (360) 627-1752. I have not used them yet, and they do not come with any guarantees. If there is a weak link, it would be in the attachment designed by AEV.

I have not heard from cturrisi for a while. My brackets are off so a fabricator can make some replacement ones for me. He is working on them currently.

I like your design with the increased thickness. I would like to solve my problem similarly. Would your fab shop send me a pair if I contacted them?
