My opinion is that Jeep is just depending on their name to keep them going. What I see is Jeep is being left in the dust. They change pretty much nothing year to year but are charging way too much now for what you get compared to other companies.
When they put a V8 under the hood and keep it affordable is the day I go back to a JT but I have a very strong feeling that will never happen. If it does it’ll be the 392 and they’ll be selling for $100K plus.
Well the fuel mileage isn’t much different from my JT. I’m 6’4” so putting stuff in the bed is rather easy. It’s a full time 4 wheel truck so not really missing much there. It is in fact a bitch to park. Has a rear locker. My JT didn’t have that. I would have kept my JT but couldn’t find anyone...
My JT averaged around 14-15mpg. I only have 1,000 miles in the RHO so far and am averaging around 11-13mpg so far. Luckily I only live about 6 miles from work.
Traded in my JT for some HP. I will definitely miss being able to go wheeling in narrow places. Definitely sure I’ll get a used one just for that reason. Definitely happier towing and way more comfortable on a trip now though.
The first pics were the day it was delivered to the dealership. 2022 JT Sport S with max tow 3.6L. And then.
Mopar 2” lift kit w/FOX 2.0 shocks
Clayton Off-road HD coil springs front and rear.
Milestar Patagonia M/T 37’s
Fuel Off-road 17x9 wheels
Rugged Ridge front bumper

-12 offset will work for you so you don’t have any rubbing issues. I’ve use that offset on a JT with a 2” lift and 37’s, a JL with a 2” lift and 35’s and a JLU with the Teraflex 1.5” lift and 35’s. Zero rubbing.
If they offer the JT with a reasonably priced 5.7 Hemi I’ll trade that same day. But we all know they won’t. It’ll be well over $100K like the JL 392.
i had a 2021 JL then traded it for a 2024 JLU 4Xe.
I absolutely HATED it!
Had the 4xe for 3 months. Just traded it for a 2025 JLU 2.0L. I like it just as much as my 2 door yellow one. I will admit though the 2.0L sounds like a busted tractor engine.
I talked to the service manager and apparently the tech did in fact bleed the breaks before determining that the master cylinder was the problem. Said it’s leaking internally. My JT is out of warranty unfortunately. BUT They did say that they sent the informing Jeep anyways and Jeep is going to...
