  1. Lesson learned the hard way!

Thanks for the heads up. A photo or two showing where the bolts were placed would be super helpful too if that could be managed.
  2. Durabak Bedliner DIY in Vivid Blue

Looks great! With mine being blue I really wanted by bed liner to be color matched to just match the original look of the truck, and to be a bit different. Line-x wanted a lot more, like $200 extra just for blue vs black. I chose to go with black and it’s fine but I sure do have a hard time...
  3. Trail Suggestions Needed - Moab

Thank you everyone for the great recommendations. Especially those that added notes about the trails, very helpful. I’ll get a book locally when I arrive as Sweetums suggested. I knew there were many ways of getting ratings but asking this group is the only way to get feedback from people who...
  4. Trail Suggestions Needed - Moab

I’m in need of the groups suggestions. I’ll be arriving in Moab 10/20 and staying for a week. I have a stock Rubicon. I’m looking to explore and enjoy Moab, to see some beautiful scenery and do some moderate trails. I’m coming from southern CA and need to drive it home so not looking to do...
  5. Cartoonize your JT (PICS)

ā€œWith a duck on the dashā€ … apparently near the dash is close enough lol
  6. Next gen Jeep Gladiator survey - who got one?

crap, well clearly I did a poor job looking for that before posting. Thanks, sorry for the repost.
  7. Next gen Jeep Gladiator survey - who got one?

Just curious how many of you received the email from Jeep Market Research Team regarding the survey on new Gladiator style and options? It was an interesting survey asking about preferences in grill designs, tops, fenders, old vs new, AND power plant (specifically asked if I’d choose a 6.4L V8...
  8. Aux Switch Custom Labels

Nicely done! Certainly requires access to the right tools and knowledge to not screw it up.
  9. Auxiliary Port Plug Jack Modification for RJ45

That’s really too bad, it’s such an aged tech and easily replaced by GMRS. Hopefully these groups will update with the times.
  10. Auxiliary Port Plug Jack Modification for RJ45

@Crossbones55, Scottz is correct. This is a Motorola GMRS radio. Comes stock with a RJ45 connector for the handheld. Personally i would not bother with a CB. I had one in my JK and the difference with GMRS is significant and GMRS is the new standard being used by most.
  11. Warn Winch Logo

It’s a Zeon 12-S. It has a perfect fit, like the bumper was designed for it. I used the Warn winch plate, and Warn power cut-off relay (connected to my AUX switch). I ordered my JT with the metal bumper. I’m happy with it. Though I miss the look of the mid-hoop from my JK stubby bumper. The only...
  12. Ready for Evac.

Having been through a number of severe fires, with the Thomas Fire (Ventura, CA) being the most devastating in recent history, the OP's perspective is certainly the safest. Every location and fire is different, but significant problems i've seen come up with trying to protect one's home is power...
  13. Warn Winch Logo

Good to know, I didn't realize it was clear coated. I haven't had issues (yet) with it smearing, fingers crossed it stays that way.
  14. Warn Winch Logo

Mine has been on my Jeep for just under two years now (~17K miles), it's fine, but to your point, doesn't look finely finished as most aftermarket fairleads. It's solid at least. The one thing I'll give it over most others, is that the unpainted finish at least means I can sand/polish smooth any...
  15. Warn Winch Logo

I love my Warn Zeon winch, but the fact that the logo faded out entirely to just silver within a month left me very disappointed. It's just cosmetic, but I expected better. I have a 10+ year old Warn 9.5 CTI (that wouldn't fit in the metal Rubicon bumper) with many years of sun exposure that's...
  16. Milwaukee Packout - DIY Hack for Bedrails

I know that feeling well. My daughter just grew out of her booster seat and I am FINALLY free of car seats/booster seats! Having easy access to that under seat storage is awesome! I do have it packed though and I like this idea. I have to ask is it plywood rated? šŸ˜† Seriously though, I do carry...
  17. 2024 Grille with hood lock cutout

I just quoted you on that... ;) By "they" do you mean you think BOLT had a kit, or MOPAR?
  18. 2024 Grille with hood lock cutout

I wasn't aware of this MOPAR lock, but i'm surprised to see they released one that isn't (I assume) compatible with a front camera.
  19. HYDRO BLUE PEARL Gladiator JT Club

Looks great. I’ve always been a big fan of machined finished rims.
  20. Bed cover

I have a Bak X4s and love it. I really like the rolll-n-lock idea, but as others have said the canister at the end of the bed takes up a lot of limited cargo space. It is also rather heavy and not easily removed. The hard roll ups are easy to remove, but still very secure. I also like having a...
