I have a Bak X4s and love it. I really like the rolll-n-lock idea, but as others have said the canister at the end of the bed takes up a lot of limited cargo space. It is also rather heavy and not easily removed. The hard roll ups are easy to remove, but still very secure. I also like having a...
I find it interesting the Cummins threads have one post that states unplugging the antennas isn't enough, that the units can still pickup cell signal, just not as well. There was no further discussion about that, just taken as fact. It seems unlikely but I'm curious if anyone who had...
I agree. I didn't care for it until i saw it in person. I wandered the lot of my local dealer as I was getting my free service and they had '23 and '24s on the lot. I was surprised that i liked the look in person. It's hard to describe why, but it does look good, IMO.
I have to give you a lot of credit for approaching the concerns of Chinese made products head-on with a straightforward open approach.
I hope this is a success for you.
I love my Bak X4s. It is super flexible to do whatever you need it to. In the cases I want to remove it, that can be done in a matter of a few minutes. It’s pretty easy.
for me the diamondback is too inflexible, but I do a lot of different things with my truck. It isn’t a good match for me.
I...
+1 for Bak X4s. I've also had mine a little under three years and i've loved it. The aluminum roll up slats provide security, while still being super easy to use. I enjoy that it also works as a nice shelf when closed. A good spot to put things while i open the tailgate.
I also have a...
As ttn333 stated, without 35+ sizes they are only going to get a small amount of interest from this group. I'd be interested in them in a 37 (actual size 37, regardless if they call it a 38 like BFG).
Despite how easy it is to blame this on people who 'should have known better', this is not as obvious as it seems to avoid. I live in this city and have been at that spot many times, though I was not there on that day. Malibu beachfront homes are just a little ways down the coast and they...
One other cause or at least contributing factor could be the thickness of the seal on the aftermarket filter. If the tolerances are poorly kept and the filter sealing surface is too thin, you could tighten the housing to the point it bottoms out and the screws are tight, yet the filter is not...
Based only on the pictures it looks like there is a fairly large step up or flange bend to the edge closest to the bed. It looks like this would make anything you want to slide out of the bed catch on it. Since you have it, could you comment on is that just the way the photos look or does it...
I was seriously considering it, but wanted a bit more learning first, so I did the Hollister, CA one last January. It was the first JA of the year and we got poured on. 80% of the trails were so slick we couldn't go on them, a simple downhill we had to do took almost 2 hours to get everyone...
I bought a pack of these duck holders off Amazon. I have just one so it’s annoying to have 29 extra, but it works great. I stuck it to a flat part of my Bulletpoint dash mount bracket. It could be stuck just about anywhere. I like that it keeps it away from the glass so I can still use my...
I love the idea of the hydro blue boots to match my truck, but I have a harder time picturing what I'd wear them with. If I end up getting a pair I'll probably go with the grey as it works with any other colors. The blue is fun though...
I'm glad they aren't. Waterproof boots have a lot of...
This looks like a data heavy site which is very much my kind of site, however to use it we need to know a whole ton of numbers. I expect somewhere in this forum they can all be found if you dig enough and are lucky, but do you happen to know any of these already or know any of the threads that...
Only slightly better in terms of drive-time compared to South Bay Truck is Off Road Werkz in Ventura. Highly recommended by all the locals. He also does normal mechanic stuff under the company name My Mechanic, just a head's up since it confused me the first time I was looking them up...
