Anyone have a recommendation for someone offering good deals on Mopar warranties?
I’ve done business with Tom Winkels before and was happy, however, I’ve reached out to him and the dealership a time or two this go round and have not heard back, so looking for others.
Nice update! I’ve ordered some mounts and various metal parts from Breedlove in the past and they were rock solid. In fact, that was years ago and they’re all still around in my garage even though the Jeeps they were on are long gone. 73
I’ve done it for hours at a time in many of my Jeeps over the years.
its loud and you might arrive feeling a little beat up from the wind, but it can also be a lot of fun.
I really just never see myself saying “I need less space, less storage, and an inability to have my son in the Jeep”.
Neat, but undesirable for me.
Specs for my ARB Elements fridge are less than 1/3 that: “0.9Ah per hour average energy consumption tested at 37.4ºF cabinet temperature, 86ºF ambient temperature, test duration of 24 hours and supply voltage of 12V DC”
Ultimately, if you want to run a large LiFePo/lithium battery, and are...
I’ll wave at any Jeep. After all, it’s the “Jeep Wave”, not the “Wrangler Wave”.
That said, in Northwest Arkansas it seems that 15% of the population drives a Jeep, so I usually reserve the wave for when I see a notably cool Jeep, topless/spotless Jeeps, when someone waves at me, or just when...
Repair: In terms of engine repair, the Genesis battery setup would be far easier to remove than the factory tray.
Group 25: While I’d love larger batteries than Group 25, the limitation is the engine compartment space. And quality group 25 batteries still offer a lot of additional AH over the...
My suggestion: drive the thing for a while first before you destroy the factory ride of the rig.
A 4-6” lift on Jeeps used to be common, but on the JT and JL era Jeeps, it’s a HUGE lift and unnecessary for most folks not running 40s (are you going to run 40s?!)
It’s easy to spend time on these...
Just installed a radio in my JT yesterday. Opted for a single band, higher power 2 meter rig with the Yaesu FT-2980.
I have an Icom ID-5100a sitting around that was in my JKUR, but I never really liked the interface.
Installed in the JT using the “CB Bar” product. I lowered the windshield and...
I have no lift. Stock gearing. Mojave.
I went with the BFG KOIIs in 285/75R17.
I feel they’re perfect for a sort of “stock plus” look. Plenty of fender room for travel, no detectable impact on acceleration or fuel economy over the 285/70R17s it came with.
Picked up this 2020 last week. LOVE the Gator color.
Took off the terribly loud Wildpeak MTs and shod it with some fresh BFG KO2 in 285/75R17 size which I feel fits perfectly.
