  1. Is

I get asked quite a bit by friends and strangers alike "How do you like your Jeep?" - My best and most honest answer I've given is that I hope I can own a Gladiator for the rest of my time here. Junk in the trunk and it goes topless some of the time... ;-) Interestingly, a good number of the...
  2. I've Been Ducked!

    NO DUCK FOR HIM!
  3. I've Been Ducked!

Umm... you've got two. Can't you make his day by sticking one of those on his Jeep? ;-)
  4. PRODUCT OF THE WEEK: ORACLE LIGHTING SIDETRACK™

You talked me into it. If I remember, I'll update with pics once I receive the lights and install them. I think they'll be quite useful, especially the puddle lights.
  5. Any 2020 Gladiator Owners Still Here?

2020 JTR, 60,000 miles, bought used in 2022. Batteries done in August this year. Still on the original rubber though!!! Love the truck. Do not ever want to not have one as of right now...
  6. New Gladiator Owner

Welcome. I really liked the Commander when it was released, but never owned one. I'm guessing at 250,000 miles you got more out of yours than most, nicely done!
  7. Ammo box bed toolbox project

Bottle jacks and bottles of Jack... both handy in a pinch.
  8. Taillights and Reverse light BULB upgrade

I can highly recommend the Oracle reverse lights. Simple install, very bright, plug and play. Took maybe an hour to complete the task. Lights up what's behind you nicely.
  9. Auto stop and ignition issue

Just went through this. Got the ESS not working message, but no trouble with the key fob. Radio issues, central locking issues on exit, and Aux switch issues. Changed both batteries, all problems resolved. The swap was not difficult, 45 minutes. Going to deploy some form of battery maintainer...
  10. Where do you keep your freedom panel storage bag in the jeep?

Don't worry about that. You can't see the top from the driver's seat!
  11. Bumper Reverse Lights

Just installed the Oracle lights a month ago, good so far, easy swap from factory reflectors
  12. Anybody else using a wireless portable compressor?

DeWalt, works well, has adapters for other things that need air. A little large in size, but even the small battery runs quite a while (all four tires several times - mine are stock JTR). I think each manufacturer makes a reasonable product, so sticking with the brand you already have batteries...
  13. Buying a Soft Top

My instincts tell me there isn't a problem with the top being in the box per se, but where the box was stored... if you can arrange a pre-purchase inspection, that should give you confidence that what you are paying is a fair price. I bought a soft top from a seller on this forum and it worked...
  14. Key Fob issue

Replacing the battery would be my first step.
  15. The Future for the JT platform.

Where's the Soft Top option... can't find it on the Toyota website...
  16. Lost climate controls after using JSCAN

This may be irrelevant, but the 'recirculate' button on the two screens are different. One shows JK the other JL... no idea if that is critical or if it indicates an incorrect 'load' of the software...
  17. North Carolina Premium Gladiator soft top $750

Good deal. Thank you for replying.
  18. North Carolina Premium Gladiator soft top $750

Super interested, but... I live a bit farther away. Do you think there is any way the top could be shipped safely? I live in NW Pennsylvania. I would happily reimburse you for the shipping, time, and materials. Completely understand if that's nothing you are interested in.
  19. Buying out a lease - work with dealer or go right to bank?

The lease agreement VERY LIKELY describes how any buyout must happen. You may not have a choice. From US Bank website: What is a lease buyout loan? You should start thinking about your plans for the end of your lease term three to six months in advance. One option is to buy out your lease. A...
