Update: finally got it to the dealer. Diagnosed with a defective drivetrain control module. Parts on order with an estimated completion Friday 6/24/22. ??
I was thinking of unplugging and checking the pins for damage. No lights of any kind. Both hi and low shift smoothly but don’t activate the front axle. Rear locker works as it should. Display indicates 4wd is active when engaged
That’s correct. Suspicion came when I failed to get up a Rocky section on trail. Wittinesses said zero front wheel spin. Tested at home with same results
Mojave with 8 speed automatic transmission. Shifts clean into 4hi and 4lo but front axle does not engage. Rear locker activates fine and no funny lights. Wondering if anyone has had similar issues?
Thanks. I have an Evo stage 4 with 2.5 kings. My intentions were to keep the factory shocks and get a spacer lift… but then I got bit by the bug. I actually have a currie rock jock 2” spacer for the jounce and 4 shock extensions in gonna let go. Had them on for a couple hundred miles
Right on. I had 37 on my Mojave for a week before my lift installation and it was fine on the street. I’d never off road it that way nonetheless this is with a 2.5” lift
Nobody could give you a time frame for shocks lifespan. Some people will romp it out in the desert weekly and some will go to the mall weekly. The thing that’ll shorten the life of your shocks will be improper lift kits bottoming out/ over extending your shock and wrecking seals. There are shock...
