Did you install this. I'm looking at remote start for my 22 rubicon.. mopar says they only offer the kit for '20 models, and I don't trust a dealer. Thanks
I'm in a rubi with a 1.5 TF level kit. But I am on willys wheels.. I haven't heard or felt any rubbing. It has not been wheeled yet.. between work and the heat wave here in Oklahoma I haven't gotten a chance. So I cannot speak on that.. someone else with 315/70 or rubi wheels will have to answer...
You may be able to snag them on FB marketplace for a discount. But, I don't see those too often.
I went from the non performance rubi rails to the overland steps. And glad I did. It keeps the side a whole lot cleaner from road spray and rocks, don't mind the step either.
Thanks for the input and the pics.
I will just leave the handle for now, until I can source someone to cut/grind it. No hurry, but could you give me the length of yours.
And since I'm going to cut the handle, I'm not going the spacer route. That seemed less than ideal.
Thanks again.
Yeah. Just as I was pressing send, I thought "I should probably just take the skid plate off".
What is the best way to address the spool release handle. I don't have a way to cut it or grind it off. Does that handle come off from the winch? It looks like it has a little allen screw holding it...
So, I have my winch installed. What is the best way to get to the inner 4 bolts that attach to the frame? Take the skid plate off? There isn't a whole lot of room from the top..
Seeing the side of your Jeep is the exact reason I went and found some overland side steps. It was either that or mud flaps.
My driveway looks exactly like the gravel in your first pic.
Looks good.
I thought the same thing. When I first saw them, I was like what did I do. But I have been surprised by the noise level and the ride.
It's a hell of a deal.
I think you should mount em...
I mounted my old tires on the new-to-me wheels...new tires got here later that same day. So I had the new tires mounted and balanced 3 days later. The extra mounting only cost me an extra 100$..
Maybe a different wheel comes out that you like better. Or one of...
Where or how should I get the cables to the battery? I have the winch plate mounted, and test fit the winch. I saw a video on YouTube, where he took out the air intake and run them under that. So I loosened the collar and took out the one screw, but it didn't want to come out. Before I just...
We talked about Seinfeld earlier in the thread.. Great show.. it's on a few different channels throught out the day here in OKC. It's good for background noise when I'm doing something else.
