  1. The good and the bad of a roots supercharger.

Hey guys - quick update… parts finally arrived to North-West Western Australia and rebuilt the Bank 1 valve train. All 6 high-lift lobes totally chewed out. Found the exhaust lifters in there, as others have… see pics. For the record - mine is a 2020 model Launch, done ~38,000 miles (about half...
  2. The good and the bad of a roots supercharger.

Good news I guess that your bank 2 cam is ok. Re intake cam phaser - rockauto seems to have non-genuine available (searched: 5047785AE)
  3. The good and the bad of a roots supercharger.

Wonder if anyone has found the wrong lifters in Bank 2; or always just a Bank 1...

Thanks Dave. Pictures took a while to upload - but should be in the thread now? What do you reckon re that lifter?
  7. The good and the bad of a roots supercharger.

As per post above... the centre lobes above all 6 intake valves are toast; as are the rockers
  8. The good and the bad of a roots supercharger.

Hi David - been watching this thread with interest from Australia. I have a 2020 Gladiator Launch, also with a Magnuson blower on it. Done less than 35,000 miles. Pulled the timing cover off Bank 1 (i.e., passenger side in the US) and my intake cam looks exactly like yours did!! Symptoms were a...
