  1. DiamondBack 270

I've been very happy with it and it is a easy to remove if I need to use the truck bed with out the top. I added the tie down points, which have come in handy.
  2. Clayton Overland Plus vs Metalcloak Gamechanger - with towing

Yes, in the pic my bed was full of stuff, an 80lb dog in the back seat and the trailer was tipping 3500lbs. My airbags were filled to 20-25psi to keep the squat minimal. I have Clayon 2.5" overland lift with diesel front springs, as mine is a diesel, and Clayton normal spring rate, not the HD...
  3. How do you drive with your dogs?

Mine gets the while back seat for most trips But on trips when some one needs to ride with him he still gets the 60% section
  4. Ecodiesel 3.5-4" lift springs - swapping out Clayton springs for a softer ride

I had the same issue when I upgrade to the Clayton 2.5" lift with diesel specific front springs, standard Clayton rear spring. I have the fox 2.5 installed and the shocks seemed to be underdamped for the new HD spring rate and rear spring rate. The Fox shocks from the factory are tuned for the...
  5. Rear axle locker light flashing

If you do it yourself, while you have the sensor out check to make sure it does not have oil in it. Removing the metal from the magnet did not solve the problem. Mine had oil in it that was causing the failure. Had to follow the potting thread to drill the three holes, which allowed me to...
  6. Fox 2.5 with DSC, Adjustments

The original instructions I had(2021) said to install with the res Rearward, But the jeep shop that did the alignment after the lift changed them and installed them forward. Then After having the all the shocks tuned I installed them rearward again and have been running for 10K without any...
  7. Making a quieter truck, where to start?

Agreed on the cover king, I installed on mine with sound deadening. I really did not like the white fiberglass look and now it looks a lot nicer.
  8. Making a quieter truck, where to start?

I used 50 sqft doing the roof and entire floor. I did not have any left over. I also installed cover king on the roof, which also helped. Later I replaced the factory carpet, after It got ruined, with armorlite and that help even more with the road hum. But quiet is relative and I'm still...
  9. Tire pressure calculator

The numbers the OP used appear to be the Max weights of a Gas JT with max payload. For reference my JTRD with Clayton 2.5" lift and HD front springs, 35" TKO2s load C, method rims, Diamond back bed cover, FOX 2.5 shocks, full tank of diesel and def, plus myself in the drivers seat was...
  10. Fox ATS - Loctite on the Pinch Bolt?

Yes. Removed the botl to make sure it was not broken and added the loctite to the bolt an reinstalled. It has held ever since.
  11. Fox ATS - Loctite on the Pinch Bolt?

I would add blue loctite. Mine came loose and was causing a lot of issues. When I discovered the pinch bolt was loose, I removed it and there was no loctite from the factory. I did check all bolts to make sure they were tight when I installed the stabilizer. But it still worked itself loose...
  12. Diamondback HD Leaking

I have the 270 version and the large door was leaking up near the drainage channel. I had to add a piece of the left over weather stripping to this area in order to get the leak to stop. You can see the weather stripping in the pic below that has been crushed, that is what I added to both...
  13. 2022 JT Rubicon Wheel/tire sizing

35"(metric) KO2s, went with C-Load tires instead of E-load. I do have a Clayton 2.5" lift. But stock Rubi will run 35"s. Paired the tires with Method 706 rims. Used a Tazer to re-calibrate speedo and have not seen any real reduction in fuel economy.
  14. Method Wheels showoff your setup

Method 706 with 35" KO2s and a Clayton 2.5" lift. Thanks to @Discount Tire for the wheel setup.
  15. 7 pin power and ground wires gauge factory Tow Package DC to DC Charger

I personally would not have a 15A dc-dc charger powered through the Aux power pin on the 7way. Even if your wire spec is correct, that assumes a direct connection between the source, Jeep fuse block, and the load, DC-DC charger, which is not the case as you are going through the 7pin connector...
  16. GDE is back and making EPA compliant tune!

Yes, I am still running 33" tires nad stock gears. I planning on doing either 35" or 37" in the very near future. I will have to do a tazer to re-calibrate the speedo. I don't plan on going about above 37" so I'm not planning on re-gearing.
  17. GDE is back and making EPA compliant tune!

I've had mine about a month. 2 days after installing I drove 1200 miles towing a loaded dual axle enclosed uhaul trailer without any issues. I got 19mpg average for the trip. I purchased the same as what you are looking at, but also got the regen alert. I can attest to the other comments...
  18. M1102 usability, utility?

    See Link for images https://expeditionportal.com/forum/threads/m1102-conversion-to-expedition-trailer.154336/
  19. M1102 usability, utility?

Unloaded the trailer is very bouncy. But loaded it tracks very well. I towed mine from TX to WA and back a couple of times now and it towed fine. No issues in heavy rains and snow. I did drive down Snoqualmie Pass on I90 with snow and slush on the road and had no tracking issues. My...
  20. What Overland Trailer do you tow?

I went the M1102 route. Fully enclosed with roof top tent and awning with sidewalls. It tows fine behind the gladiator. I do want to remove the Mil tires as they are very heavy.
