  1. 392 Gladiator V8 Hemi confirmed by Jeep CEO!

This is what blows my mind on this whole damn thread. Not debating if Jeep will do this or not but the being told because they dont want it means you shouldnt want it. Like I dont give a crap what your needs are. If they put a 5.7 in a gladiator with a markup similar to the 1500 I would trade...
  2. 392 Gladiator V8 Hemi confirmed by Jeep CEO!

You mentioned being able to put less money in another car to make 500hp or whatever and posting a pic of a car on the strip would have assumed it was yours. Point being just because someone prioritizes something over what you think should be doesnt mean dude is in a bubble.
  3. 392 Gladiator V8 Hemi confirmed by Jeep CEO!

Not gonna lie kinda weird calling a dude out for wanting something.. assuming his income status... Telling him he is in a bubble but then posting a photo of your dedicated drag car. Still all the naysayers would be surprised if a reasonably price 5.7 would be dropped into the gladiator...
  4. 392 Gladiator V8 Hemi confirmed by Jeep CEO!

Gotta love when people don't realize how R&D and overhead costs works. Now the fact FCA charges so much for a 392 Wrangler is another story.
  5. 392 Gladiator V8 Hemi confirmed by Jeep CEO!

I have never seen high 20s, like 25 max and usually run aroun 19-20.. Even with that it comes with a $2/gal premium.
  6. Still driving JT Diesel around San Fran?!?!

Not $8 around me yet but clocking over $100 on a fillup was pretty rough. First time for that in a long time and that was on a full size truck with a larger tank.
  7. 392 Gladiator V8 Hemi confirmed by Jeep CEO!

nah would still buy a reasonably priced one in a heartbeat. I mean cant be any worse than the diesel price I am paying..
  8. 392 Gladiator V8 Hemi confirmed by Jeep CEO!

Not a continuous smell, only on cold day startups and only outside. Level was low but only like a quarter jug (havent added any in 5 years), so dont think it's a huge leak yet. No overheating, so just the smell is how I know there is something to deal with.
  9. 392 Gladiator V8 Hemi confirmed by Jeep CEO!

Appreciate that. I didnt go back through but 10 pages or so. Dont have time to read ramblings of 90 pages. Guess I am holding onto the EcoD until further notice. Now I guess I need to figure out the coolant loss/smell.
  10. 392 Gladiator V8 Hemi confirmed by Jeep CEO!

lol I come back to this thread months later wondering if there has been any more concrete info here. skimmed the last few pages and the speculations both ways are wild still. ha Have an EcoD and if they would just confirm a reasonably priced Hemi I would put this up for sale and look to be...
  11. Error code P0341 Camshaft position sensor ’A’ circuit range bank1 or single sensor

Aux was replaced a year ago. The start stop worked for a couple months then stopped. Since I dont like the idea of the start stop I just ignored it. Only replaced the aux with it being under warranty going to the dealership for the fuel pump recall anyways.
  12. Error code P0341 Camshaft position sensor ’A’ circuit range bank1 or single sensor

Got hit with 49,998 miles. Find that interesting as most seemed to have been pretty early on. Will just clear it and see what happens. Anyone know if this falls under the powertrain warranty or am I going to be out of luck on repairs? Side note on the jumping battery. I jumped my wifes...

  19. Armorlite Install Questions

Old thread bump. Got the floor in until rain got me this evening. Will reinstall trim pieces in the morning. As I have time to ask now, what did everyone do with the rear center seat belt trim? The floor sits up so high you can't screw that piece around the buckles back down. Am I missing...
