Awesome mod !! How did it hold up ? I'm thinking of doing the same thing but I'm putting a CB up there! It's heavier so I'm debating on using the 3 bolts that is securing the bracket itself to make a custom mount. Is it overkill ?

I changed both microphone, its better then the original but if your running MT tires it ill still pick up ambiant noise in the cabine... I tried active noise canceling microcrophone and it still pick up road noise. The thing that helped the most was when i changed the carpet to armorlite. but...

I bought the Metra Pods to replace those useless knee front 4inch ... I overland with my Gladiator so i prioritize under and behind seat storage above all. I was wondering if anyone tried to add 6.75 Woofer like the ComptRT 6.75 woofer from Kicker in the pods instead of the 6.5 mid/tweeter ?
