I have the gloss black Nerf steps and the paint is peeling. I assume something hit it (aka one of its jobs). Has anyone used Rust-Oleum gloss black paint on them? It's either that or I need to take them off and get them repainted from scratch. They lasted a year at least :-).
I installed Armorlite last year and love it. After I finished installing it, I realized that I did not put the "carpet" connectors back in near the front floor boards. I had thrown out the carpet but had cut out all of the pieces before doing so, but, forgot to mark them. Can someone...
For all of the High Altitude haters, don't read this...there is a huge difference, in my opinion, between the sport seats and the high altitude - maybe it's just the leather, but, I think it is much more comfortable...I rented a sport and didn't like and loved the feel of the HA...
Found this link for steering stops - will give it a try this weekend! Thanks!!! Love this forum and the Ko2s are SO SMOOTH!!! http://www.4x4xplor.com/steerstop.html
Upgraded to KO2 275/65/R20 (34 in) on stock wheels. When turning tight backing up, some rubbing occurs. No lift or leveling kit. Do we need to move the wheels out or lift? Thoughts?
Less than 1200 miles, 1000 of which was drive from Tennessee to Texas. All hardware included. Can deliver to East Austin area mid-September or Southeast Houston/Galveston area. $200 $150
Came off of a brand new 2022 HA with less than 50 miles post delivery. Dividers still in plastic. Great dane wins the back seat so this has to go! $350 - North Austin or South Houston. No Shipping.
1020 miles on them, of which 975 was driving from dealership to house on first day of purchase. $200 and can meet in North Austin or South Houston areas. Will not ship. $150.
I just installed the armorlite. Where did u reuse the plastic retainers - that was not part of the instructions and what confused me. Do you have a pic installed?
I proactively removed the jack so I don't know. I am not putting the lock box back in because it actually gives my great dane significantly more room. I was going to build a platform but, decided to just leave out the box. You should have to remove the jack though because there is no cut to...
I am going to add some just to be safe. And yes, its weird the center console gap, but, it matches the original carpet. I didn't believe it, but, I checked after talking to Armorlite.
I was also surprised that you don't use the fasteners on the sidewalls or rear of front. I still can't get the side pieces all snapped together. U definitely need loctite on the seat bolts.
I sent a note to Armorlite. If I don't hear back, I plan to use black duct tape to prevent anything from falling between the seat and the center console. Not sure of any other solution.
Followed these instructions...
A couple of notes:
Seats are not Torx - front seat needs to be fully removed and needs E14 to remove; did not have to remove or loosen back seats
Where the back and front overlap next to center console, its not all covered - only solution I can think of is duct...
