Even if I did remove that bracket it doesnāt fix my issue since the other piece is welded to the frame. What are your guys opinion on cutting that bend off and hitting it with some paint and leaving the bracket still on there?
Thanks I appreciate it. I guess I should have typed something better into search because I just found a couple topics already on this after not initially finding anything. My bad!
Passenger front wheel well. Iām having issues with this rubbing on the back side of my tire at full lock. Anyone have any idea what this is and could the lip of this bracket be cut off with no issues?
I trimmed a little off the sides of the bracket and managed to get it to slide through. Seems to be pretty solid and man is it a tight fit. Heat shield on the left, track back in the center and the frame on the right, but it works.
I had a few hours of free time today so I got that done today...
I forgot about the tazer, so I checked it this morning and this was the only thing on there. The only time I use full throttle would be to merge onto a highway, this truck is definitely not a race car lol.
A couple weeks ago I made a trip into Michigan (about a 2 1/2 hour drive each way) to meet a fellow Jeep enthusiast who was selling a used 392 front steel bumper, steel rear bumper, tire carrier and a Warn Zeon 10-S winch with the plate mount for $1500. We made an agreement to just the front...
My question is what kind of wheel are you guys using? Are you guys mostly using the steel spare wheel with your tire mounted on it or a matching wheel and tire? I have AEV Saltas 17x8.5 with 37x12.5r17 BFG KO2ās and the bracket on the hoist that holds the tire up is way too wide to even fit...
I have a damaged lug nut that Iām going to replace with the same original one and was curious if itās safe to leave the wheel still on the ground and the other four still torqued while taking that one off and a new one back on. Iām assuming the wheel would not move as long as the other four are...
Looks like I didnāt get away with it like everybody else lol.
Good news: Setting the tire size to 36.69ā like it says off Falkens website makes it accurate vs my phone so Iām happy about that
Bad news: The stupid ASS (lol) light being on, and now backing up I donāt have a camera. I have to...
I was going to just go the normal reset and two sleep cycle route and see what happens but I was waiting for someone else to let me know of their experience first. The only time I even use 6th gear anymore is on the highway going 75mph and itās almost exactly 2k RPM.
