Not to beat a dead thread... but my 21 had the same issue for the first 15k miles. Now as I pass the 20k mark it's slowed way down, likely closer to the 7500+ miles for 5 gal DEF. I had the same thing happen early on, 3k miles, warning... now it seems in line with possibly getting to 10k per 5...
I love the matching topper, think it looks great. The odd part is the fact you never see a SUV or other vehicle like this with the doors off ha! All good to me, serves the purpose, enjoy the breeze! Looks like fun to me.
