  1. Flat towing

I’ve read that you’re ok for a couple days towing. After that they suggest a battery charge system. IGN off, 12v from RV.
  2. Installing Maximus-3 Tow Loops

I ran a dedicated 12v into drivers wheel well to power my RVI brake system. Curt plug & play harness for lights, works great.
  3. That love child you don’t talk about…

33’s would really dress that up
  4. 2020 Gladiator rear window leak (so far i suspected the actual small opening window, but actually it is entire top of the window)

Many have complained about top being scratched because old glass is difficult to get out. I have a body color top & was unwilling to take the chance. Got some Flowable silicone (3M) & put a couple of tubes worth in the top channel. Problem solved. Additional silicone is not visible from outside.
  5. Cat scale weights

In the lit the only one over 5k is the Rubi, & it’s less than 5100.
  6. Clear coat bubbles/flaking on front edges of hood

I’ve got something similar on my 20 Rubi. Just read recently here some problems with paint adherence to the aluminum due to not quite correct prepping of the bare aluminum. I might be able to warranty it, but it doesn’t seem worth the trouble as it’s in an inconspicuous spot. I’ll just touch it...
  7. Tiny pinhole ends a mighty 35...

Plug it & make it your spare
  8. Flat tow using Arcus d-rings?

I put a plug & play wiring setup <$100 that is isolated from vehicle electric with built in diodes to connect brake & turn signals from Curt. No cutting, works great. I also have the RVI3 braKe controller w/ wireless, also works great, you need the 12 volt cigarette lighter kit to run from...
  9. Can anyone tell me what this is for?

I’m confused . A spider bit you, you felt electrified. You got your tools & went to your mansion by the beach, & missed all the trees along the driveway. You loved the bike ride but were run over by a bus & the ambulance took you to a plane, then a train & left you at a golf course. Then you saw...
  10. 8 Speed Automatic Regrets?

Love the auto. When I’m feeling lazy, or for convenience I’ll leave it in auto. When I want sporty I’ll move to manual. I can hold the revs a little higher, downshift when needed. I’ve got an exhaust on it, & the sounds are fantastic.
  11. Flat Towing my RIG - Simplest Install? Economical? WON'T Damage my Jeep?

Forget flat towing the Jeep. Like Berb said you have a major investment to prep the Jeep. Consider a smaller fwd car on a tow dolly.
  12. Aftermarket fog light install

Thank you, a good education .
  13. Aftermarket fog light install

I’m keeping the factory halogen bumper fogs. I have a set of new in box Hella fogs laying around. If I didn’t already have them I would not be doing this. The low beam wire will be used for the relay which will be switched from inside. I can’t id a fuse in the panel for this, so I’m assuming...
  14. Aftermarket fog light install

2020 Rubicon, where do I find low beam wire to connect a relay for aftermarket fog lights? I do not have any auxiliary switches inside.
  15. The All New BAK Revolver X4s - Information and Group Buy

I also have Linex & Bak 4s. The weatherstrip that came with the kit worked fine. There are a couple of factory holes in the bulkhead that Bak uses, I had those plugged for linex install. And there is a pre- scored section of side rail top that needs to be removed. Very straightforward install...
  16. Supercharged engine longevity

Any trouble free hi mileage jeeps out there ? I’ve gotten 250k miles out of all my previous vehicles ( limited mods- exhaust, tune modules, etc). Anyone gotten at least 100k with an aftermarket supercharger ?
  17. Manual shift the 8 spd auto

    Forgot , also a B2 “moderate” exhaust.
  18. Manual shift the 8 spd auto

New here. Just got my first Jeep, 2020 Gladiator Rubicon. Love this truck. Ive always had either pickups or full size vans so this feels like a sports car to me. I got my flat tow capable vehicle, my 4 whl drive, my pickup. My wife & I got our first convertible ! All in one !! So far I’ve added...
