Agree, they certainly serve a purpose...I would love to see someone come out with an adjustable one or a longer one. The wider opening for me is important so I will deal with the flapping door

All done, thanks for the assist...I did wind up putting a zip tie through the bolt hole just to make it a bit easier to grab, pretty simple...My Husky will be delighted with the extra opening space

Thats what I thought...I heard it can be a pain to get out of the door and some use a zip tie to use as a way to get it out.

Quick question... Did you disconnect the black door stop from the frame to gain the additional opening space?

I didnt realize (in their infinite wisdom) Jeep welded the limiting strap hook to the body so replacing the hook with a longer post wont work...I have a puppy on the way and would really like to get the back doors to open just shy of the front and back door hitting when opened. Has anyone found...
