Went to my dealership yesterday as well. They knew nothing about it all and tried to tell they were getting no parts of any kind due to the strike. I asked her to look into it anyway and to get me on the list at least.
Get a tazer, well worth it for the other features it adds. Skip the banks stuff and just get a gde tune. The gde tune is an actual tune and transmission mapping package. The Derringer just fakes values and isn't a tuner at all. The pedal monster, is just another fake value adjuster. 10...
Yup, also an odyssey guy here. used to be a Optima guy, but they got bought out years ago and started making them in Mexico. I went through multiple yellow and redtops under warranty.
No problems to date with my Odyssey batteries. (not in the jeep, in the sxs)
I almost exclusively drive in town. Per my Banks monitor, my distance between active regens is 360 miles. I have gotten the old message of death 3 times in the last 10 months (at <10K miles).
I towed a dual axle 24'long x8' wide x 7.5' tall interior-height enclosed trailer with 2 RZRs inside from Illinois to central Missouri with zero problems. Max tow with weight distributing hitch, brake controller, and rear airbags. I ran 60-65, but was able to maintain that speed regardless of...
I have done MB Quart 6x9 mod on both of my gladiators. You don't cut the "roll bar", you just cut out some plastic, just so we are on the same page. I use a zipper saw for that part. Install takes about an hour to do both sides. Mine are both Alpine upgrades, so I did have to cut the wires...
The diameter of the tire is somewhat irrelevant. It is the ply/load range and tread width of the tire that matters. On a heavy-rated tire (E range), I was running 27psi. On lighter C-range tires, I run 35ish.
If you run heavy range tires at high pressure, your jeep doesn't weigh enough to get...
I yanked all the foam out from under the hood, which makes it more noticeable.
No doors for the summer helps as well.
Right around 13psi is the magic pressure for loudness. As it gets past 20psi, I don't hear it anymore. Probably a combination of the engine is louder and I have significant...
I have had both engines in my gladiators. (Traded my 3.6L for the ecoD because I was holding out for the 392 gladiator which isn't happening). The diesel has so much more giddyup off the line and the mileage alone makes it worth it. I drive almost all city for daily. My 3.6L got maybe 12mpg...
That sounds like a connection problem, not a mirror problem. I get the same alert if I drive with no doors on.
I do concur with driver mirror being all the way out, which gives me perfect view anyway.
Yes, defrost and blindspot. I opted to not do turn signal cause, well, I personally think it's dumb for the effort involved to make it work.
I will say the mirrors are great and that the US DOT needs to make the format of blue and convex a standard feature.
I don't see how it would be possible in any way for tazer to affect manually shifting the transfer case into 4wd. Pretty sure line lock affects the front brakes, nothing to do with 4wd (so you can do sweet burnouts if you have the diesel engine...:) .
Just followed the instructions from website. Adjust them fully down, pull from the top of mirror and they pop off. Then disconnect the defrost harness.
3 wrangler platforms over the last 5 years, 1 JKU, 2 JTs, no cracks or chips in any of them. All but my new JT (just got in August) were offroaded. I live in central Missouri, so plenty of cold weather, dirt roads, etc. Maybe I am just lucky?
