  1. Process/ thoughts on troubleshooting drifting to the right.

I have a 1.5" lift in the front, 2.5" in the rear. I have 35" Kenda Klever tires on stock Rubicon rims. I inflate them to 31 lbs. A week or so ago I noticed that my truck doesn't track straight. The symptoms are as follows: when driving I orient the truck so that I am going straight forward...
  2. Cheap double hardtop storage stack.

This is probably a pretty specific audience that will appreciate this build, but itā€™s super simple and cost me $34. Itā€™s a way to stack 2 hard topsā€¦ in my case a 2-door JL on the bottom and a JT on top. (2) 2x4x8ā€™ (2) 2x8x8ā€™ (8) right angle brackets. (32) 1 1/4ā€ screws (8) 2 1/2ā€ screws (1)...
  3. I unsubscribed from TFL today...

Today I watched my last TFL video and unsubscribed from their YouTube channel. Their latest video, "Jeep Fights back HARD against the Bronco with this New Wrangler", is literally just a clickbait video to try to get views, and honestly it sounds like they are reading word for word off of a...
  4. Best non-locking lug nuts?

The OEM lug nuts on my ā€˜23 JTR are showing signs of rust. They are doing the same thing my JK lugnuts did before they started to expand and for lack of a better term ā€œinflateā€ or swell- they are the coated OEM version. Iā€™m looking for the best inexpensive lug nuts I can get that are a solid...
  5. Donut Media drives a tracked Hellcat Gladiator!

At 12:15 of this Donut Media video the host gets into a Hellcat swapped Gladiator that has Helltraxx prototype tracks in place of wheels that they drive around on a mountain. Itā€™s cool. This specific truck has lead to very strange thoughts going through my head. As a southerner who prefers...

  7. Soft top with the latches?

Hey @Bestop , I installed my wifeā€™s trektop NX on her ā€˜24 JL 2-door last weekend here in TN. I love it. it gives the JL an awesome look, and while her hardtop is good for the winter, the soft top s preferred. Is there any chance you are going to make a soft top for the Gladiator that has the...
  8. Let's talk about 10,000+ Ft/lbs torque...

Somebody please help me understand- Why is the cyber truck claiming 10,000+ ft/lbs of torque yet Jeep isn't claiming 1,140 ft/lbs of torque in the Rubicon? the rubicon has a 4:1 reduction gear, the cyber truck has 13:1 reduction gears on its motors. I don't see a difference in completely...
  9. Can anyone tell me what this is, and if the residual oil is a concern?

I took this picture today. The part in question is in the center of the photo, with the bolt head on it, a boot on the right, and what appears to be wetness from oil on the piece directly to the left of that bolt head. This piece is where the steering column meets another part, and there seems...
  10. I need a favor. Next time I decide to go with any mod that is priced significantly less than any other on the market...

I need one of you to come over to my place and punch me in the face about 3 times. This time it was Hawkley "Wolfstorm" inner fender liners. I spent the big bucks on the Fishbone tube fenders, and cheaped out on the liners. Just so you all save yourselves the trouble, they are hot garbage...
  11. Base Sport owners…

All of you Base Sport owners. Iā€™m curious what you all do when you get them, and even more curious as to whether or not anyone has bought the Base with no intention of upgrading / modifying at all. Thanks!
  12. Inexpensive steel tube or narrow fender flares and Fender liner recommendations?

I want to install either tube style or narrow slender flares. I'm tired of worrying about destroying my stock fenders on tight trails, and would rather just get something that was created with wheeling in mind. I don't mind spending on the fender flares, but the fender liners are downright...
  13. When do you "step in" and correct bad advice?

I was on (forgive me) the Jeep Gladiator Subreddit the other day. A potential new buyer asked about a Rubicon Vs. a Sport, and somebody piped up and said "a Sport with a rear auto locker is more capable than any Rubicon". Having been burned in the past by a RZR purchase due to bad advice, and...
  14. Quick release fender flares?

I live 2 hours away from my local off-roading park. Iā€™d like to find a set of aftermarket fender flares that can easily be removed so that Iā€™m not kicking up road debris by driving fenderless on the way there, but also so that I can toss the removable flares in the bed while Iā€™m on the trail...
  15. Found this picture of my Grandpa today…. I think it’s Korean War era. I knew it was in my blood!

My grandfather is in the center with his rifleā€¦ and a Jeep behind him. I just had the best feeling when I saw this! Hell yes!
  16. Opinions on actual labor vs. charged labor for a service at a shop.

I'd like to get some opinions here- I had something done at a shop, and the shop up-sold me to bring my truck back a different day and get some parts put on that I was going to need anyways. They invoiced me for 6 hours of labor. I dropped the truck off, and 3 hours later they messaged me and...
  17. A rant? Lots of TERRIBLE advice in the "In real life" Jeep Community.

This is sort of a rant, sort of a gripe, but I think it's appropriate to put it here because I feel that what I am about to bitch about generally does NOT happen here. Or at least I don't think I have seen it. And if it does, STOP IT. Any time I upgrade anything on my Gladiator, or the...
  18. Absolutely destroyed my hands installing the Tazer Mini

Yup. Scraped knuckles and wrists(?) as well as the tops of several of my fingers trying to finagle the SGW plugs out of their OEM homes so that I could plug them into the Tazer. I hadn't intended on it, but the Tazer is now staying plugged in. Ooof!

4 of them have 5,050 miles, 1 was the spare and never left the underside of the truck. No TPMS. $350 for the set of 5 in Murfreesboro, TN.
  20. Thoughts on Skyjacker lifts?

Anybody have any thoughts on this lift kit with the m9386 shocks and the 9208 steering stabilizer? Iā€™m thinking of installing it myself and just paying for an alignment...
