I've enjoyed the sands of Galveston more than a few times. Last year, we took the ferry over to Bolivar while towing our Airstream. I learned that the soft sands there and the stock tires on my Overland were not a good combination. A passing 3/4ton Silverado pulled me free in less than 10...
I spent many years in the car biz. It's always supply and demand. The supply chain screwups are still with us but Jeep has been able to build plenty for us. My local Jeep store has a huge inventory and is still trying to add market adjustments and dealer add-on packages. I'm about an hour...
We're shopping for a Class A motorhome and look forward to flat towing our '21 Gladiator Overland in the same configuration as the original poster.
I see you are using the Blue Ox EZ light wiring kit . Which hitch are you using to hookup your Gladiator to your motorhome?
I recently experienced the failure of my aux battery at a most inopportune time. The dash icon above the fuel readout indicated the failure of the stop/start system. My destination was Mustang Island State Park in Port Aransas, TX. A couple yards from the Gulf of Mexico. I woke up in the morning...
I would consider your fuel economy reasonable. I get about 13mpg on a good day pulling my Airstream Basecamp 20X. We tried a smaller trailer but quickly traded up. Take a look at a BlueOx TrackPro Weight Distribution Hitch. It works well for my Overland + Airstream.
Just passed the 13,000 mile mark in 21 months of a lease on my 2021 Overland. Works well pulling my Airstream Basecamp 20X. I found that stock tires are not good on the soft sands of Bolivar, Texas beach. Still undecided on keeping it at end of lease. We are way under on mileage to date. No...
I saw my worst mpg on my 2021 Overland yesterday. Hauling my Airstream Basecamp 20X from Galveston to Granbury, TX, I scored a solid 10mpg. Granted, I did see 75 on the speedo quite often. Tire pressure on truck was 38psi. 80psi on the trailer. No issues other then monsoon season in North Texas...
We shopped the Ranger and Colorado but could not find what we wanted. So, we leased our 2021 Gladiator Overland as some of the roads in our area can be compared with cow paths. The dealership here in Granbury had the right color (Snazzleberry) to keep my wife happy. The leased was based on...
We leased our 2021 Overland because I was not sure of our long term needs. My wife chose the color so we are happy with the truck over all. I work from home . I don't drive much. We now have 12K on the truck after 20 months. The rough roads in our area justified having the Jeep. It works well...
I would take the time to speak with your dealership sales guy & his management. I spent many years in the car biz. If the market is softening on that vehicle, there may be flexibility in their pricing. "Do you still want the Gladiator as ordered" ? would be my guiding thought.
Recently picked up a new Airstream Basecamp 20X. Tows well with a Blue Ox WDH. The first night of our 1000 mile road trip was in Thousand Trails Campground in Whitney, TX.
Just had our first weekend adventure in our Airstream Basecamp 20X. Truck pulled well. Keeping speed between 50-65 helps mpg. 11.5 average for weekend. Blue Ox Track Pro WDH & Curt Echo brake controller helped keep the stress level down.
