4 months later - finally have an update worth posting. Here's the recap of the troubleshooting they performed / what they replaced:
Vehicle received in no-start condition - removed fuel line feeding the high-pressure fuel pump and verified no flow coming to HPFP.
Fault code detected, replaced...
Figured I'd at least post this for other people's awareness and/or to see if anyone has had a similar issue.
2 months in, and the dealer still hasn't identified the problem yet. They've replaced everything related to the low-pressure fuel pump (pump, shorter wiring harness, main wiring harness...
I'll start by saying that I've been a Jeep enthusiast for more than half of my life now. My first car in high school was a '94 ZJ that I drove for a few years, and about 10 years later I bought a '96 ZJ and basically drove the wheels off of that thing. Loved both of them - they had their...
Dealer took a while to get to it, but I was able to drop by on Thursday and get them to start checking it out.
According to them, the low pressure fuel pump in the tank failed. No ETA on parts and I'm hoping to get some info about how they confirmed that, but at least (for now) it doesn't seem...
@Free2roam did not cross any significant water, there were a few muddy spots but I avoided them as I didn't want to have to clean up afterwards :CWL:
@californiajeeping I didn't pay enough attention, I'd have to go back to the dealer and try to start it up again. Does the fuel pump run any...
Picked up my new 2022 diesel at the end of August, put on about 1,000 relatively easy miles on the highway / around town over the first 3 weeks.
Finally took it out for a wheeling trip over the weekend and it performed flawlessly. Did about 150 highway miles to the trailhead, and then did...
Picked up my diesel Rubicon last week! Already really digging this thing, I've put about 500 miles on in my first 10 days.
Had a great experience ordering through Rob Trachtman (@RobTrachtman) at Tuttle-Click and using the Tread Lightly program. I had started communicating with him towards...
for sure more prevalent in the affluent areas - people in the LA-area beach cities drive around luxury street-legal golf carts as a flex, I think the Mokes are more popular as rentals for cruising around but I’m sure some are owned outright and used like the luxury golf carts.
Ordered a silver zynith a few weeks ago - was split between SZ and granite crystal, but in Southern California it seems like half of the JTs/JLs I see are GCM so I was pretty set on getting something slightly more unique. Every GCM I've seen since then has made me glad I chose SZ  I've...
Just ordered from a dealer in Southern California, was told the exact same thing and left the bedliner / headliner off the order to help speed it up. He also said the freedom panel storage bag isn't available either, so that got taken off the order.
Same as above....heard it was supply issues.
Nice, thanks for the info - I'd seen the factory video a while ago and didn't put 2+2 together to think that they do have a mix of colors running at once.
And yeah, I'm not sure where Rob had gotten the info, but I'm guessing he does enough orders to know what items slow the builds down. I've...
Ordered my JTR diesel through Rob at Tuttle-Click in SoCal on 5/31, got a VIN pretty quickly but I'm still waiting for a scheduled date.
I've been eyeing the JTs for a while but hadn't seen a truck with the options I wanted, plus a few dealers around here are marking up big (hard pass). I had...
