Conservative. Not trying to offend. Two types of driving modes in my family: driving like a conservative (always obeying the law) or driving like you're out of cigarettes (I'll run over anything to get where I'm going). It is nothing political.

Same setup. I tend to drive like a republican around town but am Mad Max on the interstate so the mileage is about the same for city/hwy.

StartX works great and is around $120 on Amazon. I've had mine almost 2 years. Whatever your heater/AC was set to, that is the setting it runs when started.

How are those cases (Maxpedition?) mounted to the tops?

I did the same thing but went with the infotainment option. That said, I have the fancy 7" (?) dash cluster on the way. There is no EPROM programming but I have to send it off to have the mileage match whats on the Gladiator currently. All said and done it should be well under $500...

I'm aware that the harness and handles are needed. Just wasn't sure if every JT can accept this upgrade and was seeing if that particular option shows up under JScan then it has what I need from the factory to do this.

Before I install anything if I run JScan and the adaptations are there for AP1, AP2, etc. Does this mean I have the correct sales option to install this? 202 Gladiator Sport by the way.
