Yep. My rubi tj was great in town and trail but on the road I needed ear plugs. My jt is my fav on the road.

The idea of not putting a slide in on the gladiator is BS. There are so many that have done it effectively.

They are not putting in a good clutch any more. You can’t feel the clutch engage very well. My 04 Rubi is the last good clutch I’ve had.

Ive had manuals all my life (8 wranglers) and loved them all esp my rubys. I've gotten older and my new DD is a Ruby gladiator 2021. I love it. Good power and great tranny. If I am using 4x4 low it block down to a low gear.

I agree. At byway speeds a kayak will easily kill and change your life forever. The roof gutters are fragil.
