Mine is lifted. Two inch AEV spacer lift. It still hits the liners. If I hadn’t traded it in on a new Rubicon Ecodiesel, I would have probably lifted it a little more. Or put in the spacer washers so they were more vertical.
If you look closely you can see where the AutoLynx rubbed the powder...
Disconnect (unlock) the AutoLynx, grab your sway bar and pull it up as far as you can. That will tell you if they are hitting the inner fender liner or not. Mine do hit them and I have aluminum high clearance inner liners. You may have to cut a hole with a hole saw to get the clearance they need.
You either watched a video that was vague or you need to watch it a little closer. Yes the Sport S has the wide axles but ONLY with the “Max Tow” package. The base Sport S has the narrow axles.
As has been said, there are bumpers that will work with the factory skid.
My question is; Why do you think you need it? It really doesn’t protect much. If you’re worried about the reservoirs, you can relocate them fairly easily, however I have done some fairly difficult rocks and never even got...
The pics are without a spacer. The red power cable is fairly squished between the winch and the grill.
The spacers should give it enough room I won’t be worried about the wire getting worn through from vibration.
The winch is also touching the front of the bumper. I’ll try to get some more...
No, it’s because the drain plug was in a terrible spot and liked to piss the gear oil all over the trail when shown a picture of a rock. If you actually hit said rock it would still piss the oil all over the trail, but with the added joy of also becoming nearly impossible to tighten again.
The...
I joined the club this weekend. The Warn Evo 10s was a tight fit. I think I will order some 1/4" spacers and put them in when I Raptor line over my terrible rattle can paint.
Edited to add:
Oh and for those wondering about the fitment on a Mojave. It will fit, obviously, but there is some work...
Totally worth it if you need the disconnects. Even on mild logging roads they make a difference, but not as much as they do for crawling or other fairly rough terrain. I noticed a big difference with the front sway bar disconnected on a recent trip to the dunes.
For dirt/gravel roads and daily...
I had mine on for about a month before I swapped the fronts to Apex Autolynx. The boots on the links looked like a tire that had been sitting out in the desert for a decade. For the price of the kit I had expected better,
Rugged Ridge Max Terrain if you’re looking for new fender flares. One of the fender chop kits if you are ok with your current flares. I went with the Rugged Ridge. I used the included plastic rear liners and purchased the aluminum front liners.
