Having to abandon the Gladiator. Can't afford both. BUT Marysville Rairdon (in Washington) with have a Gobi Sport Gladiator in 8 weeks or more if anyone's wanting one.
So, i betrayed all of you...my dealer called. They had a Gobi Willys Wrangler come in, and my Gladiator is still scheduled and not in production. I left the dealership with it...and im happy.
Gator then Gobi. Couldnt afford a jeep when Gator was out and I wanted to buy new. So I got Gobi this year. Just waiting on delivery. If they release Gator this year I'll be pissed lol.
I never once got pulled over when I was top down doors off in my 01 Wrangler. No side mirrors.
As a cop now I can safely say I wouldn't pull someone over for no side mirrors unless they almost hit someone as a result.
Maybe I'm just bias though.
Exactly. We have an older 4 door Wrangler on our Search and Rescue. I could see replacing that with a Gladiator but there is no way in hell I could see someone using one for regular patrol.
As much as I love Jeep, I would HATE to have it as a patrol vehicle. Search and Rescue or Forest Patrol? Sure. City or normal county duties? Pass.
Edited: A word
My Jeep Tracker still shows scheduled but no date. It now does NOT show a picture of my jeep though. Weird glitch or does it mean some backend movement?
Bro just trade it in for a 2023 Mojave or something if you are wanting one. Used are costing almost as much as new.
Or keep your current rig. Sounds like she has treated you fairly well. You KNOW yours isn't a lemon right now. You don't know that about whatever you trade it in for.
My dad bought a 2001 Wrangler when I was 8. I told him the day he bought it and we first drove it "This is my 'truck' (forgive me, I was a boy)". When I turned 16 I learned how to drive stick in it and he gifted it to me for my 18th birthday. My biggest regret was selling her when she started to...
I'd just like to add, switch to USAA when you are done with this. I've been in one accident and they were absolutely amazing to work with (My wife is military baby so I am am member through my father in law).
I just ordered my Gobi on July 10th. I've learned two things. One, Amazon has set me up for failure with their instant gratification...it's going to be a long wait. And two, I'm addicted to checking for status updates.
Hello, first time poster, short time lurker. Just ordered a Gobi Sport on 7/10 and have realized that I am addicted to checking my status...it's going to be a long wait.
