  1. My County is Not Testing Diesels Anymore. Stage 1 or Stage 2?

If you're under warranty then get a new PCM installed and programmed, tell the dealer you want to keep the old/stock one and give that one to EOC. Then go Stage 1 EGR off and choose DEF on or off and trans tune. The main reasoning is you can revert back to stock in 10-15 min and still be covered...
  2. Diesel Desert and Trail Build

2 min drive to get here from where i work.
  3. Diesel Desert and Trail Build

Beadlocks at 9psi/7psi make easy work of this soft powder.
  4. Diesel Desert and Trail Build

I also mounted a Pelican BX135 onto the factory trail rails. It's clean and stout and matches the trucks colors. (Not sure why but the upload photo feature is glitching) Possible Next Steps: 1 inch spring spacer lift all around, plus 1 inch bigger shock rods ends. That'll restore the little...
  5. Diesel Desert and Trail Build

Going slow for the drone otherwise it's like 50mph through this. Puddles are scary, and blinding so I usually try my best to avoid them.
  6. Diesel Desert and Trail Build

Nice thing about having a street legal rig is you can have fun anywhere without the hassle of a trailer. You can see sparks comming off the rear lower shock mount skids. These skids always rotate forward on hits so I payed a fab shop to weld them on after this video.
  7. Pelican BX135 Cargo Case

Thanks OP. Love the clean look. Let's see how it holds up in the whoops.
  8. Dual Pump Compressor Bed Mount (NAPA, THOR, MORRFlate, Maxi Trac etc.)

Nice setup. Do you have a parts list on what it takes to make this work? I love the mounted to the side of the bed design. I do a lot of high speed offloading though. I imagine the bed and frame under it flexes a lot when I do. I just wonder if it'll hold or if I need to reinforce it more.
  9. Diesel Desert and Trail Build

Somoa Sand Dunes Park and Rubicon Trail: A trail about 5 miles from me that I do on the wekeends, this is medium fast, just because of all the water and I was low of fuel: here is my current mod list: Stage 1 EOC [+60hp + 100ftlbs] ADS Triple Bypass and Hydro Bumps 4" Synergy Lift Stage 3...
  10. Pre-Runner Springs - lots of rear wheel travel

Is it just the DEF tank that's in the way of one of the upper control arms? One could find a way to delete it.
  11. Pre-Runner Springs - lots of rear wheel travel

Color me impressed by your research, work and the driving. I have a JTRD with synergy with ads triple bypass and hydro bumps. Im guessing there's some extra work involved to make your setup work for a diesel.
  12. California Front and rear axle shafts for diesel

I'm located in nor cal. I'm looking to buy spare axle shafts for my diesel. If you've upgraded yours, I basically want your old stock ones.
  13. P026D - The saga continues

There's lots of ecodiesel owners with no issues. The ecodiesels without problems aren't posting as much. The only real serious issue is over the fuel pump but if you run a fuel additive then the pump is fine. I'm tuned going 15k out of 25k miles. I would have sold this thing if I didn't tune...
  14. Cost for oil changes and fuel filter for 3.0

$50 at jiffylube. I bring my own oil and filter. Amsoil and Docs for the filter and then will go by the oil life indicator. I usually cut my service intervals in half for everything else though - brake fluid, diff fluid etc. Free tire rotations because I bought my tires at a local tireshop...
  15. CO Gladiator Build... Help me select my parts along the way...(vote)

Synergy lift and then everything from their catalog plus a JKS geometry correction. ADS triple external bypass shocks and air bumps. Synergy is quality and so is ADS. All that other stuff is junk - go look at the bushings and size of the synergy pieces and compare them to teraflex or...
  16. 426 Hemi swap on existing drive train

e I think you'll be just fine on stock driveline with those skinny tires and you can probably put 37s or 38s and beadlocks and wheel trouble free for years as well. More traction along with more torque means more binding in the drivetrain and that is what'll breakstuff. But the driveline should...
  17. Gladiator is Tops in 2023 Initial Quality Study for Midsize Trucks (JD Power)

What sort of mods? I need something to drool over. The lowend torque and fuel economy on the diesel make it awesome, but I could use like another 100hp.
  18. Gladiator is Tops in 2023 Initial Quality Study for Midsize Trucks (JD Power)

Stage 1 or stage 2 Diesel is around 550ft*lbs. of torque and 300hp. I'm on 37x13.5 Toyos M/T + beadlocks and no regear. It's still a quick scooting son of a gun from a stop. If the engine ever goes out of warranty, for whatever reason, V8 swap it then. I floor it all the time because its so fun...
  19. High Performance Pads and Fluids Reccomendation

Thanks for the posts. I'll look into EBC and Powerstop. Yeah SRF is probably overkill but it's nice to know I won't die from going over a cliff if my brake fluid boils.
  20. California PRP Seat Covers Never Installed $200

They are for Rubicon front seats.
