Hello! I have a 2021 Willys gladiator and experience the same resonance. I was at the dealer recently and was informed that there is a recall on my truck for a whole new clutch. They just released the parts. Now I have not driven it extensively but surely long enough for me to notice the sound...
Thanks for the reply. This is exactly what I observed. I was worried that the rear would be spongy compared to the front. I will drive for a bit and see what happens. Thanks
Do you think leaving the stock coil springs in the back on my Willys while replacing the front coils with rubicon take off will cause any issue? I am sitting level right now (by eye), which is what I want, but at the same time I don't want the rear end to seem too spongy compared to front.
I bought rubicon takeoff suspension for my Willys gladiator. I wanted to get rid of some sag from winch and steel bumper addition.
I noticed that the front springs were the same height as the rubicon springs yet I did get some lift and my ride height was restored. So this is consistent with your...
Interesting. I did investigate some aftermarket springs from Synergy that are supposedly stiffer and claim to provide a bit of lift. You are not the first person that I have seen claim no real difference between Willy's springs/shocks, which makes me wonder if maybe just changing out the springs...
I assume the rubicon springs are stiffer? I’m contemplating this same upgrade to my Willys. I added a steel bumper and winch and feel like I gained sag. Could be psycho-somatic but I really don’t like any rake. I already have a 1.5 inch spacer.
I know everyone has an opinion and comfort level with this subject. But for someone starting out and hoping to get into overlanding, is a winch one of the first mods I should make? How often have you all used your winch?
Wanted to share an image of my set up in response to the exchange we had earlier. Thanks for the info. The shop still thinks my tires/wheels will get lost in the wheel well of i go with a 2 inch lift due to the flat fenders. Interested in what you all think.

This looks sick and just what I needed. I am trying to think about the long game. In the future i would like to put a 2" lift on and i wondered if the 34's would be lost in the wheel well. But this looks really good.
Thanks for posting this. I love the look. I have the same gladiator with a 1.5 in leveling kit and have been scouring the internet for pics of gladiators with 34’s. I recently put Bushwacker flat fender flares on and just want to make sure I have clearance and to see if 34s would get lost in the...
