I tried to be nice with my HOA when they came at me over my old Silverado , our rules said " No Trucks of Any Kind", they wanted to play a game.
After spending close to $10k they had to fold due to "Selective Enforcement".
20 of the 27 unit owners, including the HOA president drove "LDT"...
You are as confused as my HOA President.
Yes, your JT is a Truck.
Pop your hood and you will see this little sticker from the controlling authority that has defined it as such.
OHJeeper,
Please give me an update on this setup.
I have a '22 JTRD on Nitto Trail Grappler 35x12.5x17 & oem wheels
Currently running the Teraflex 1.5 level kit and Teraflex 2" lower shock mount extension
Plan on going to the same tire in a 37", doing the Mopar Bilstein 2" and the Mopar 4.10...
Thanks, probably will go with the Mopar and take out just the 1/2" puck.
Leaving the Teraflex 1" puck and the Teraflex 2" lower shock mount extension so the shock won't over extend at droop.
That will most likely give back a little rake over what I have now but I am about to add a little more...
Thanks for the info
I was already sure the Mopar 2" would give enough clearance for 37x12.5x17 Nittos since I am running the 35s now and won't be going over a 37.
I ran an '85 4Runner on true 36s for 20 years and found they could get me anywhere I needed to go
Not sure if the Mopar 2" will...
Looking for input from anyone who has gone from running a Teraflex 1.5" Leveling Kit to the Mopar 2" Lift Kit.
Did you leave the TF 1.5 and add the M 2 or did you remove the TF 1.5 when changing to the M 2 ?
It seems to me the TF 1.5 spacer leveling kit could still be able to work with the M...
I gave the Mopar Performance Rails serious consideration but decided to go with Frame Mounted Rails instead.
Went with the LOD Destroyer Slider with integrated steps
I posted a detailed install thread with pics
I would not have bought the JT if the EcoDiesel was not available and was limited to the 3.6L or a smaller turbo 4 cylinder.
Averaging 22 mpg with 442#' of low end grunt on 35s and room for 4 and all of our gear.
Not so smart marketing for Jeep because I'm 60+ & this may be the last Jeep that...
I installed the TF 1.5" kit as well
Only other change was to add the TF 2" front shock bottom mount extensions
No trouble with the alignment but did need to adjust the link to center the steering wheel
