Mopar 2", but I swear I gained much more than the advertised 2". My old JKU had a 2.5" lift and I definitely have to step up higher to get into the JT.
I really like my Overland wheels too, especially because they are part of my 80th Anniversary Edition trim. It's just my opinion but I think 37s just look right on the JTs. In fact, after I bought my Jeep, it had 35s on it already. I knew I would eventually get a set of 37s on there. I ended...
I too installed the Rock Jock carrier bearing spacer as a preventative measure. Inexpensive and super simple to install.
I just have the Mopar 2" lift, no additional spacers. My local shop actually recommended against adding a spacer up front since the lift kit shocks were engineered to work the...
I do this as well. I've had to make adjustments a couple of times with my JScan app and got it where it isn't too bad accessing those connection points.
I still may get the extension cables eventually.
I only felt it when I bought an '05 Grand Cherokee with the intention of a small lift and bigger tires. The surface rust I thought on the undercarriage wasn't "surface". Sold it for a little profit.
As far as insurance goes, shop around. We do so every couple of years and always find a better...
I would agree with others here. I only know of a couple people that use them and they are on motorcycles.
Thoughts on removing the tires, getting the beads out of there and go with a more traditional balance method?
True tire height rarely meets what the specs say. Best to measure your actual diameter and base your tire height adjustments with JScan or Tazer accordingly to your true tire height, if you haven't already.
I really like that hood decal. Since mine is black, I might consider one in gunmetal now that I see yours. I typically don't add too many decals and when I do I like to keep it subtle.
That looks good.
I've always liked the idea, design & weight of the aluminum bumpers but was always wondering on how they would hold up/protect the Jeep in a traffic accident.
I was just going to jump back in this thread and say the same thing. The 17" diameter spare wouldn't matter as long as the tire diameter you mount on it matches or comes really close to your new setup. May be able to find a used tire?
