Thanks for this. A daily driver sub-forum is a great idea. I'm shopping for a new pickup right now. My heart says JT, my head (and my family) says Canyon/Taco/Ranger. I work from home, drive mostly when I want to, not need to, and can use a pickup bed. If I was buying for needs I'd get a used...
Great post, and very true. Not everyone picks the right vehicle for themselves (just ask my wife - I've made a few automotive mistakes). You need to go into it knowing a vehicles cons as well or better than its pros. Also, you need to know yourself, your wants, your needs. The car I ended up...
Mojito and Joose look good, but I'd prefer '41 or Fathom Blue for my own Gladiator. I'm not waiting for the '25s though and will be picking up an Anvil by the. end of the year.
Surprising number of SACumcised killers here! Worked with G's and A's (BUFFs and 135s) prior to going to the rubber dogsh!t haulers.
SAC had its sh!t together, especially compared to what we see in the current bomb wings.
B-58s, btw, are a whole nuther level. Beautiful, fast, very cool and...
Went to college there. Spent quite a bit of time on that beach. Had a lot of fun and my grades reflected that. Volvo 264, Subaru Brat, '67 Mustang convertible, '86 CRX Si. Never a Jeep though. Yet.
I am completely with you on this. My wife's Subie tells you how many gallons you save with the POS start-stop system. She's had it for close to 3 years, 50K miles and it show something like 2 gallons saved. Seriously? I turn it off every time I drive. If my next car has it, I'm deleting it...
All great information, thanks again!! Here in 08088 I'm only seeing 10% off all other trims. We had the 15% off Sport and 10% off everything else until yesterday. Which is fine, I'm eyeing Sport S or Willys right now.
Hmmm. I checked a few other zip codes. I may need to make a trip to NE, I...
Subscribed to your channel - and that color on your Gladiator looks fantastic!
The Frontier has been a great truck. It's a 2012 I bought new in '11 (think I paid $25k... wow.) About 4 years later I gave it to my son as a gift for something special he achieved. Now he's overseas for three years...
Wow, thank you for ALL that info! Punk'n Metallic Clear Coat isn't my type, but it looks great on others' Jeeps! I'd love to find a Gladiator in Earl Clear Coat, but those apparently came and went quickly.
That part won't be an issue. My DD is a lifted Frontier (which goes back to my son in a year, hence my car search) and my other car is a Sprinter-based RV. Neither of those will be a threat at Lime Rock. As for MPG the Nissan only gets above 16 when driving 65 on a highway.
Thank you to all...
Thank you for the reply. I realize it's open-ended and as you saw clearly I'm still in the research phase. But 15% off MSRP is kind of amazing right now. Hmmm, maybe I'm answering my own question.
First post! Hi there, I'm still shopping and not an owner yet.
Some great deals out there, but my question is: are they good enough to buy earlier than I'd planned? I didn't plan to buy something for at least another year, and the Gladiator wasn't choice #1 (but it IS in my top 5 - don't ask...
Last time I was there (last spring) me, the Mrs. and the doggos got infested with ticks. At least that shouldn’t be an issue for you this time if year. Looks like it’ll be a blast! Have fun!
