When I regeared mine I had the same symptoms the relearn procedure fixed mine. I took it easy on mine during the break in (no fast starts ect) but the gradual acceleration from 40 to 80 didn't concern me.
Look at the manual transmission supplement.

The procedure:
1. Set your tire size through the engine-off Vehicle Settings menu according to the manual for
your Tazer. Find the manual for your device here...
Have you changed tire size, axel gears or anything else that will change the final drive ratio? If so, do you have a tazer? You'll need to perform the calibration mentioned in the tazer manual.
For me it has nothing to do with burnouts its trying to make up for the lousy 1st and reverse gear ratios. I think any manual trans truck should have a 1 mph ground speed at idle in 1st and reverse. Day to day driving take off in 2nd, space 5th and 6th more and 4.10s would be great...
Yeah I may not have been clear enough. I'm posting on my phone most of them time. Mainly trying to say most people cruising on the interstate won't cause the jump in oil pressure I've seen people mention before. Even with 5.13 and 33s.
It's not that the clutch can't handle the power its the clutch they choose to use can't handle the power. The manufactures know if the clutch makes any noise at all people will gripe and bring them in to be looked at when nothing is wrong. I'm a die hard manual driver. I've had the rams too...
Yeah I'm not sure either. Good info to bring up for sure. The way I see things though, I use them how I want / need to. If it fails I repair it / upgrade it. If it can't handle it how I use it, I replace it with something that can.
At 70/72 it's still at 30 psi. I don't typically cruise faster than that but the switch is near that speed. I'm close to my first full tank since my gear change and prior my best tank was 17.3 hand calculated. My display is currently showing 18.6. The display is typically .4 mpg off. So it...
I'm running 5.13s on 33" tires 6 speed Rubicon. I plan to go to 35s when the 33s need to be replaced but for now the 5.13s work well. I really thought it would be slower in 1st and reverse than it is. I can still run 70/72 mph no issue. I have a 75 f250 that is still half the speed at idle in...

The dyno graphs I've seen shows the torque pretty flat throughout but it keeps making HP all the way to redline. I'm not saying I run it out every time in 2nd its occasionally on a nice back road you pull on...
I don't choose the send it option. Been driving manuals my entire life and never had to replace a syncro. I've put over 200k miles on stock clutches too.
Yeah the what I call high idle during first crank is nuts. The rev hang I'm talking about is when your really on it driving "spiritedly" an run 2nd up to around 6k when you hit the clutch to shift to 3rd it rev hangs in the high rpm you either have to pause when out of 2nd into the 3rd...
Yeah I plan to gear to 5.13s and as far as the rpms go I have never had an engine I don't fully utilize. The redline is over 6k and I run it out as I have every vehicle I've owned. I don't run 2nd up every time its just during spirited driving.
I ordered the JP6-HDSS I'm happy overall excluding the throwout bearing my shop had to replace with the factory one due to them reporting the supplied one having a rotational noise and chatter. One other thing I've noted since install is with the promass the rev hang is pretty bad. It may get...
First duck received today. We were at the local park. I seen a top off wrangler I suspect was the ducker. It’s not going to be something I seek out to do but plan on ducking someone else with the ducks I receive. The way I plan to handle giving a duck is to see if they have any ducks. If they...
I had a local shop I've had do work for me before install my clutch today. Unfortunately they called and said the throwout bearing that came with the kit is making a bad rotational noise when the clutch is depressed so they're going to have to pull it back apart and re-install the factory...
