Yea… you went alittle harder than me. I went simple with working it to the pigtail, negative was a post behind the kick panel, beneath where the door harness is. I like the idea of wiring a cigarette light in there, I felt bad cutting the original harness. I planned on putting the controller up...
Got the radio installed. Midland MXT275 and it’s the Jeep edition. Shockingly it was the cheapest option due to being on sale. I wired it into the Aux 4 button and seems to work great so far. Ran the antenna up to the front cowl and put it with my lights. Ended up putting the box under the seat.
Is it a constant shimmy? That would be the new tires. If it actual death wobble, like when you hit a solid bump and then the wobble starts and can’t be stopped until you slow down. I’d check for anything loose, then ball joint time…
Pulled a guy out of the ditch. The winch line was frozen up so I went old school and used my rope. Nowhere to hook on the van so used a soft shackle to A arm and it came right out.
we have found we like the roof on and doors of the best. It keeps the NC sun off our head but when I have the doors on I’ll keep the sunrider open as much as the wife can stand it.
Mopar single hoop and love it. Fits perfectly over the winch. I like that it doesn’t protrude out past the bumper, just my personal taste. Make sure your winch is short enough though, mine is close, less than an inch of space.
I used the Rough Country winch mount. Super easy install and the plate seems solid. See link below:

I have used the winch four times so far. None for me and self...
Yea that’s not the factory liner. The issue you’re going to have here is cutting around the panel to access it as well as the bolts. I did it on mine when it went out and there wasn’t any other obvious way to change it out. You have to go through that panel
They repaired the original. I went by and checked as they were working on it and they sanded it down to aluminum, , used some different type of primer, then paint and clear. It’s been clear for three years since
sooo it should be covered under the 5 year anti-corrosion warranty. My local dealer didn’t have their own paint shop so it was contracted out to Caliber collision and they did a fantastic job on my wife’s ride.
