  1. DPF Failure @ 27k Miles

I hear that happens with age... ;)
  2. Colors matter... especially if you live in the desert

After owning a Black Xterra in Vegas for quite a few years, there was a reason I went with the Hydro Blue truck this time around. It also came with the headliners installed, which most certainly helped too. I also really don't get folks in desert/hot climates who buy black leather interiors...
  3. 🚙 YOUR Dream Wrangler or Gladiator

Bigger interior space, and better cooling on the EcoDiesel. I'm pretty happy with the truck I have.
  4. If you had to start your build over, what's the first mod you'd grab?

The steps and grab handles also made the wife happy, as it made it easier for her to get in and out of the Jeep. ;)
  5. If you had to start your build over, what's the first mod you'd grab?

Tonneau cover, Rock Rail steps, and grab handles.
  6. Costco gas and P0340

I wish the Costcos near me sold Diesel.
  7. Gladiatorisms ……. Bizarre, weird things…Normal or….?

Every once in a while Carplay stops working for a trip. Can sometimes get it back restarting the Truck. On top of that randomly every 4-6 months the Homelink garage door opener won't work. Next day just fine. Restarting, or cycling through Stop/Acc/Run doesn't always provide an immediate fix...
  8. What’s worn out faster than you expected?

So far yes. Also purchased the extended warranty just in case, as I hope to have the truck for a long time.
  9. What’s worn out faster than you expected?

Shocks around 24k. A few seals were also leaking and repaired at the same time. (I'd have to go find the paperwork to remind me which ones). All fixed under warranty.
  10. Still driving JT Diesel around San Fran?!?!

Filled up in the Southwest Henderson/Vegas area 2 days ago, and it was $6.50 a gallon. Fortunately I don't put a lot of miles each year on the truck, but it was still an ouch. (Not quite 40k miles on my '22) It's the business truck, so the business will have to deal with it.
  11. We’re screwed! [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS. MEMBERS BANNED]

I believe Nevada is one of the "at fault" states, where you are automatically at fault if you're backing out of a parking spot and hit/are hit by someone. Wife was backing out of a parking spot a few years ago (and I know how very slow she does it) and was hit by a car that zipped in off the...
  12. STOLEN from my driveway this morning! New Jeeps are crazy easy to steal apparently...

A lot of us have Jeeps to get away from the "way too Peopley" areas.
  13. Reduckulous!

Got ducked the other evening at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. While I don't collect them, I do appreciate that someone liked my Gladdy enough to show their appreciation. I think it's a nice gesture, but to each their own.
  14. What! NOBODY?????????????????????????

    Still a fun commercial.
  15. How Much Did You Pay For Your Gladiator

Bought my JTDW brand new off the lot in July of '22. Had found a dealer's special online, and went in to test drive that specific truck. I absolutely loved the drive. When I asked how much it would run me out the door, I was told a price much higher than the online advertisement was showing...
  16. Considering going 255/80R17

Running a '22 JTDW with no lift, and want to get a touch more height without making it too much harder for my Wife and Mother-in-law to get into the truck. So I'm looking at going with the 255/80R17s without going heavy on the Pizza Cutter look. Thought about going with the 285/70R17s, but kept...
  17. Why the Ford Jeep is the Greatest Vehicle Ever Made -- Jay Leno's Garage

The inside of the old plant is a very cool building.
