  1. Is it possible to disable tailgate lock/unlock from automatic system and use key only ? Hard tonneau cover is easily compromised now...cut top/unlock.

Well damn... it does disable the buttons. I was looking for a solution to a non-problem. When the red dash security light stops blinking rapidly, it disables the lock buttons on the door. Time to take off the top.
  2. Is it possible to disable tailgate lock/unlock from automatic system and use key only ? Hard tonneau cover is easily compromised now...cut top/unlock.

That's what I last remember happened too but it still gives a thief enough time to steal something as most people ignore a car alarm or don't even know if the owner might have set it off. I'll test again, with the fob out of the vehicle to see if the buttons are indeed disabled. Thanks guys.
  3. Is it possible to disable tailgate lock/unlock from automatic system and use key only ? Hard tonneau cover is easily compromised now...cut top/unlock.

With easy access (no top) to the lock switches, anyone would be easily able to climb in and unlock all doors including tailgate to take any items in the bed. I need to carry specific items with me most days (work) but would also like to use my soft top or no top.
  4. Is it possible to disable tailgate lock/unlock from automatic system and use key only ? Hard tonneau cover is easily compromised now...cut top/unlock.

Digging up this old thread as I couldn't find any other answers. I keep some things under a tonneau cover I need to make sure stay as secure as possible. I'm thinking of running without a top or partial soft top with doors on. The only solution I'm seeing mentioned is to disconnect the plug...
  5. Warranty claims and the drama that follows...

I read the thread and I think this is likely your biggest issue with the dealership(s) that want to help. I had some issues with paint on a previous Jeep that were only visible at certain angles and not in direct sunlight. I suspect they were due to bird shit being left on before purchasing. I...

Rule #4 - The listing must include an asking price. OBO (or best offer) is allowed but it must be accompanied by an asking price.
  7. 0w 20 or 5w 30

In reference to my dealer attempting to deny my warranty, the grade of oil was in the receipts along with the dates showing it matches the timeframe when I did the oil changes.
  8. 0w 20 or 5w 30

My Gladiator got the tick last year. My dealer was already trying to deny my warranty before even getting my documentation of self service. I bet the wrong grade oil woulda made him laugh like a madman.

  10. Do you have a low RPM stutter/misfire/hesitation? I HAVE THE FIX

I suppose rev hang is the more appropriate wording. https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/any-fix-for-the-awful-rev-hang.51877/
  11. Do you have a low RPM stutter/misfire/hesitation? I HAVE THE FIX

It's a lot of reading on the JL forums side so I haven't gotten through it all, but just two more questions for now. The manual trans Rev the engine supposedly for emissions sake when driving and clutching in between gear changes. Can this be removed so there's no automatic blip, and would you...

This is looking pretty good. Is it compatible for use with the manual 6 speed?

  14. Aux Delete- Lets see how it goes.

I went for bigger (more capacity) batteries on both.
  15. Adding remote start to 2025 Gladiator

I've seen people say all you need is a remote start remote (and programmer or locksmith/dealer) and to activate the options through JScan. It only appears to work on automatics though. I tried in my 21 6 speed and the remote is not recognized. Seems they use different radios (signals).
