I am 6' 1" with size 11.5. Never had a problem with this. I drive stick, maybe my feet move more often. But then, I only weight 211, no cankles! Truck is in Hawaii so I am wearing shorts also.
I assume you all are taking a test drive before your bought and knew what you were getting into...
I have one of these that has a manual on/off switch backup on the unit, I see no manual backup on the unit for this one; and inside the truck is the manual powered relay for on and off. I do not like relying on a fob. I installed one because my security alarm on my Tahoe decided to go off at 2...
Glad I am not the only one attached to his vehicles. Sad to see any of the stalwart service vehicles run out of service life.
(I have a 6 stall garage)
The govt has been investigating this since 2023. Not big news like the networks are reporting. Took 3 years to get the recall rolling so it cannot be a big deal and my 2023 hasn't burned down the house. I will get the repairs done when my letter comes. I feel for the folks who lost thier...
That Criswell badging would have been the first thing to disappear from my Jeep on day one! I bought the truck, You'd have to pay to advertise on it, and it would not be cheap!
Liking the fold down bench idea though not sure how practical that would be.
Ditto, have it, love it, even though I have a manual shift where so many conditions have to be met that it would rarely function anyway. How many dry starts can your engine take with that 0-20 oil? (I run 5-30 now.).
Tie downs and rope! Never know where you're gonna find that antique dresser or table. I packed an antique dining room table from Vancouver BC to Sacramento on the back of a '74 Pinto hatchback!
It isn't a usually a matter of octane unless your manual recommends higher, like a Cadillac CTS-V. Or a vintage muscle car. It is a matter of buying Top Tier fuel that is refined cleaner with additives that keep your combustion chambers clean. Anything carbureted should not be stored with...
Whew, UGLY! Big ol' clunky thing. Wasn't the idea that we had a nice mid size pickup with our loved Jeep features?
Pass on the yellow, Looks like color stolen from a 1972 Vega. Maybe just one click better than 1972 Camaro orange.
BTW, where was I when the stick option went away? I bought...
I tried one on at a dealership I had no plans to purchase from, you know..."what can we do to get you into this vehicle today". I wanted to fill out the order form myself for what I wanted at my local dealer who really appreciated the business.
Though no manual tranny to try at least my wife...
Maybe you have lifted your Glad, maybe not. One reason I bought mine was for the lower deck height and lower bedrail 'toss over' height just for loading up stuff like those bricks. Much more useful to me than most all the giant full size pick ups.
It is US made. The CEO has to be paid millions before quality is a thought.
You bought the PO's problems. A used vehicle at 40k miles probably had problems wether caused by the PO or it was a POS right off the line. I like my truck, but it has a few quality things that I would like to have...
For me the new grille is "less Jeep'.
My parents had an early 60's Wagoneer. When they changed the grille on those Wagoneer's to something flat and horizontal, as they have done to this, it ruined the 'Jeep look'. It is too bad Jeep is doing it again. I hope it is somehow functionally better...
My son took mine swimming in salt water. I had good success through my original dealership procuring a new one and took my new fob to another state where my Jeep now is and the dealership there did a great job matching my new fob to the truck. Kinda costly but successful. Good luck!
