How does data for the tablet get to the tablet? Like for using maps or streaming music apps from the head unit if you don’t have the ability to use CarPlay or android auto? Do you require to put your phone in hotspot and connect the head unit to your wifi hotspot?

The size is ridiculously small. And CarPlay doesn’t even take up the 7” so that is even smaller. Backup camera has black bars on the sides so is smaller than the full 7” as well. Yeah, I have no need to use the phone app Uconnect functions so that’s not much of a loss for me, personally. Not being able to do software updates kind of is, but still think I could live without that.
