It was around $2200 ish. Gruber is still there. My hunting and fishing camp is a little south of webber's fall's so I am always out that way. Give me a shout if you want to meet up and do some wheeling. I can put you in contact with the shop that did my gears. They are in Edmond and do great...
Update. Did the 4.88 gears. Went with spicer because i heard yukon was having issues with the gears for these things. Really washed my radiator out and got a lot of fine dirt out of it. Tows great. Fuel mpg went up a hair. Nothing drastic. Truck drives the way it should now. Overheating propblen...
I owe you a beer or two. It's a bit of a drive but if you are ever in Oklahoma, hit me up. Thank you. I have been stressing about this for a week or so.
I will keep my fingers crossed. At this point, I feel like the only way I can get them is on the chance that someone didnt toss them when they were done.
Does anyone Happen to have a copy of the installation instructions for the Poison Spyder non Rubicon hood louver panel? It is part # 19-53-010P1. I have contacted The people that call themselves Poison Spyder since they were bought out and they are no help. They say that all the instruction...
Does anyone that has installed this still happen to have a copy of the installation instructions? Poison Spyder does not make them anymore. The 4wp in El Paso had one on their display wall and I was able to talk them out of it. I could not find one anywhere else. It came with the louver panel...
Mine was doing this and driving me crazy. I felt like an idiot when I realized it was my slush mats. The front passenger side drain plug was pulled out of the mat. Reinstalled it and the noise was gone. Hopefully this is your issue as well.
Offroad Addiction, Custom Offroad equipment, Precision driveline and 4wp All recommend Yukon. Blumenthals was the only one that mentioned spicer gears. Any other places you recommend? I'm currently getting quotes together.
I am not a fan of the short grill. Sure it will be easier to get off with aftermarket bumpers and winches in the way but it looks like a jeep compass grill or one of those ugly little box jeep things.
Better upgrade those axle shafts while you are at it. I have heard 40's are pretty rough on the stock axles. I am looking at options to do away with the two piece passenger side shaft. My xj had that same stupid two piece shaft design. I understand why it is there but that doesn't mean I have to...
That's pretty much what Yukon Told me to run with 35's and I do trust them. I will hit you up next time I am up that way. Might end up at Disney this weekend but the wife is trying to drag me back to Arkansas. She fell in love with all the waterfalls. I will keep you posted.
Its also gets serviced regularly at the dealership as well as by me. I Check all fluids and give every thing a look over before and after every wheeling trip. Minus the differential oil levels. I do that every 6 months and every time I get the axles in water.
Yes sir, we determined all of this earlier in the thread but I appreciate your input. Someone added a link to flush the radiator but it had nothing to do with flushing a radiator. It talked about the engine cover trapping heat under it and the benefits of removing it. I don't think the engine...
As stated earlier in the thread, I plan on going to a 4:88 gear ratio in the next few weeks. The above mentioned Lift is a Mopar lift and you are correct, it was installed at the dealership, not the factory. I did not clarify that. We also determined that I do not have the wide track axles a...
We were at grubber a month ago. Hit up Arkansas around the mulberry mountain area a few weeks ago. If you have never been, hit me up. I have quite a few .gpx files for that area as well as the wolf pen area. I will probably end up at Disney at some point over this long holiday weekend.
The bumpers were on it when I bought it. I think I will get those Poison Spyder hood louvers to help increase airflow thru the engine compartment. I hate those cheap Chinese bumpers that are on it and will be replacing them shortly. I will look for something that will allow the winch to sit...
I live a little north of Shawnee and we have a fishing / hunting camp in the Tenkiller area. If you plan on doing any wheeling, let me know. Don't know if you have ever been to Disney on the Grand Lake but that is some of the best wheeling in the country. Hit me up if you need a wheeling buddy...
That is definitely a possibility but I do not experience overheating anywhere else. We spent a few days at Merus Adventure In the Palo Duro canyon and wheeled all day with a large group. It was a hot day and we were moving at a snails pace on most of the trails and I had 0 heat issues.
