Problem solved.....they had to replace the transmission.

That is what the dealership said (let warm up). I have tried that multiple times with no change. And the hard shifting from 2nd to 3rd only happens when we are accelerating slowly. Thank you for your comments Gren71

We have taken it to the dealer 5 times and complained that at slow speeds shifting from 2nd to 3rd has become a nightmare. Shifting hard and sometimes feeling like it won't shift at all. Then to top it off, when going from park to reverse, it nearly knocked me out of the seat with such a hard...
